The food looks great. I've read that Germany has over 300 different kinds of bread and over 1500 kinds of sausage, which means that you could eat a different combination of bread and sausage every day for several decades (if not your entire life) and not repeat a combo. Apparently every little region in Germany has a local special bread which isn't made anywhere else.

I am going to be in Munich in two weeks from now and of course the prerequisite eateries to check out upon arriving will be greatly influenced upon your videos. I will definitely be checking out your recommended/suggested eateries! You are like a brother from another mother! LOL. I have travelled extensively throughout Southeast Asia in the 70s, Europe throughout the 80s and 90s in and South America and Africa throughout the 90s and 2000 and I still refer to your videos as a checkmark in regards to where to go to eat! Keep doing what you are doing my brother! You are doing it right! And lastly, only because I have watched so many of your other videos with your wife and beautiful family, Brother, keep them paramount.! 😊 That will always be the secret to your success

I am killing for those Schnitzel. I living in Bangkok for 4 years. Many "German places" here but they cant reach the taste of what Mark just showed us. Was looking forward to see those German Videos for so long. Thanks Mark. And do not forget to hit me up for the Seafood place in Nonthaburi, I told you about before!

Thom: do you have any suggestion for the best German place here in bkk? They might not reach the taste but it will probably do the trick for me since I haven't had any for years and years.

This video describes perfectly why I really like to travel in Germany. Of course they have techno raves in Berlin and what not, but the food and the good ambience are the reasons why I love Germany.

Hi, I love your video's. I was in Germany back in the 1970's and I miss the Schnitzel. I had 2 kids born there but they don't remember. my husband was stationed there and I got to travel with him. I loved trying all the foods there. I even tried to learn German but I got lucky cause some germans spoke spanish and english. My husband would get upset with me cause he only spoke english and when some germans found out I spoke spanish, they would speak to me in spanish so they would'n forget it.

Schnitzels have got to be the easiest thing to make. Just take some pork, pound it out really thin, flour it, dip it in eggs then seasoned breadcrumbs, shallow fry it and you’re good to go!
Schuhbeck - the name of that ice-cream-shop, is a popular German cook, who does a lot with spices, he owns at least one shop only selling spices blended by him, that´s his passion. And he´s very present in German TV-Shows.

My bavarian thoughts to the Schnitzel: You ate Schnitzel wiener art, a real Wiener Schnitzel contains veal instead of pork and normally they serve a sort of cranberry jelly. But the Schnitzel looked good nontheless :)

One of the greatest flavors is the fresh lemon juice upon a freshly fried schnitzel, be it pork, chicken, or beef. It's bright filled with delight for your tastebuds:)

Mark, but real, real, genuine schnitzel should be made of veal, not pork. It can be pork, but in Austria usually veal is used for let's say most "orthodox" schnitzels, and this really makes a difference.
