Coolest rock n roll band to come out of Philly in...oh. say....a thousand years? Yeah, that's about right.

A base of Todd Rundgren, a dash of The Boss, and a little Warren Zevon never hurt no one.

Played with them at a total dive called Upstairs at Adrienne's many moons ago before they hit big. Nice guys. Sounded amazing despite both of us playing to a crazy weird room, small crowd, and sound challenges. Class act. Went at it like it was MSG or Wells Fargo. Kudos.

The first time I saw them they played outdoors, surrounded by concrete buildings at 11:45 am on my college campus. I saw them and other great bands play a lot of barn burners, but that 1st show, where I’m sure I was the only 1 out of 8 people not milling thru on their way to class is still the best I’ve seen. In those first years they played like the world was on fire

@@joehooven7909 the bigger question is, ‘where have you gone Mick Bader?’. I may not be Paul Simon, but if you add U, he and Art Garfunkel to a semi prostrate Earl Scruggs, you get something akin to the feel of Marah circa 2000.
