Knees dont scale well on tall people, they really arent any stronger on someone who is 5 feet vs 7 feet at the same hip width. Theres a reason asian pro ballers are rarer than hens teeth. Having personally seen a 5'11 ecuadorian player, who is captain of the team back home, not even make the team at a 3rd rate high school as an exchange student; you really dont understand the level of competition here. Im 6'2" and lanky. Never could make the team, but im pretty sure i can count the filipinos who can legally block me on one hand. On the other hand, my knees are a constant issue and i dont try to play in my vans.
