Yes, I live with anxiety and depression and dimond panting, knitting, crochet, doing my nails etc really helps when its hard to cope with even while on medication.

I have anxiety also, and anything artistic helps me a lot. I haven't been into dip nails for that long, but I almost always do clear dip nails, just do I can't paint them. I find painting my nails so relaxing and I literally paint them almost ever day. I love hand painting nail art. I also love to paint pictures. That "Friends" one you did was so cool. I love horror movies. :) I'll have to check these out on Amazon. As for the nails, I LOVE the sweater design. So cute!

OMG ... "give y our brain a job". I have dissociative disorder, to this is a key. Dissotiative disorder is a huge thing with a lot of options for self=care. And why I do nails. One of the things I love most about your videos, and you, is that you're so accepting of folks on the "fringe".

I found you by accident. I have been wanting to try dip powders. I to do my own nails. Now..I have suffered from panic disorder, anxiety, and depression my whole life (i am 61). So I totally understand where you are coming from. It's nice to know that I am not alone. I have started dipping into junk journaling. There are a lot of fun ladies here who do that. Exactly! I have a beautiful nude color from iGel but getting it to apply in thin, even layers is a challenge even when I pour over. Love the Modelones acrylics.

Beautiful set. I stopped dipping because it was making my anxiety level super high…. Too repetitive after all those years. Now I use strips and it’s much faster plus I don’t need to think of how to do a set. Still trying to figure out how to use some of my chameleon flakes and pigments with them so they don’t peel. I’m thinking builder gel and I haven’t tried it yet. My new passion for the past couple years is growing orchids. I love it but it’s very time consuming. But it gives my overactive brain a break.

Gorgeous! I've been wanting to do a dusty blue/tan/nude combination for fall! I'll try the sweater technique again with it! You make it look so awesome! I tried the method last year when you did it and it was ok but was definitely a challenge to do the sweater design with clear gel. I'll try a coloured one instead!
