I don’t use a mat. Sometimes I’ll use a paper towel or a tattoo bib, but the wood you see is my nail desk!

Do you use a gel base before the rubber base gel? I assumed it would be like Builder Gel, where you're supposed to put down gel base first? But maybe gel base is not needed at all?

Nope! It IS a base gel! It’s just slightly Thicker and more flexible than gel base.

Just a quick question...before you filed and buffed your thumb, did you need to wipe tacky?Just wana make sure if i do this , I don't get just about done and then mess it up!lol THANKS MARLA!

Contact dermatitis is no joke. I now have it and it burns so bad, literally thought it was neuropathy in my hands and feet. It caused skin dryness and cracking that lasted weeks on my hands and neck. Yes neck because I scratched my neck when I used my nail to clean up gel on my hand and didn't get it all wiped off completely. In addition to all that it started eating away at my nails. One is half way from base to end of nail now another ate a hole through my nail. Please use caution I don't wish this on anyone.

Ok lame -o question. Difference between regular gel polish and either builder or rubber gel is?? 😂❤

Definitely not lame! Rubber base is a very flexible, thicker gel great for adding a little strength to natural nails. Builder is great for an overlay on strong nails or longer nails. Also great for building extensions. Gel polish is just for color. Hope that’s helpful! 🩷
