I'm a hobbyist woodworker and I enjoy making furniture pieces and other wood projects. I also love to bass fish so I started looking into what it takes to make a lure. After watching some of your videos I realize it's probably not for me. The woodworking part is nothing, but I simply don't have that kind of artistic talent. Kudos to you for having that kind of talent. Incredible! If I ever did make lures all of them would be called "Midnight".

Nice work.When i used to make my own crank baits i would use a metal spinner blade rather than plastic for the bib.This meant i could bend it either way till i got the perfect swimming action.
@davidnicholson74283 жыл бұрын
Love the paint scheme! Square bill shallow running Crankbait! I usually fish plastics, Spinnerbaits, swim jigs, chatterbaits, some Flippin jigs not much on Crankbaits. Shore fisherman and it's kinda hard to get out where the fish are. My daughter busted my Flippin Stick, but I repaired it with a new top guide. Now it's a 7' 0" heavy Catfishin rod. 1/2 oz - 2 oz 14 - 30 lb line spec. Gotta keep one of my rods and reels & box of tackle in my truck in case I get to find a place to fish while I'm out & about! Not many places like what Ya'll have there in Texas. I keep on tryin to find places! You & the family, Need more vids of Max fishin with you!! Reminds me of myself and fishin with dad!! Tell Max that I wanna see his PBs. He's gonna turn out to be a real good boy!! Ozzy too!

I was intrigued to make lures as a kid. I'd use flat washers as the water lip to weight it but never could get the hooks to stay in. I'd use tiny eye screws and they'd pull out when hit but still they would get strikes and that kept me excited as a kid.

Beautiful job, lure looked great. I enjoy watching you make the crankbait. Very much so got to say you detailed it all the way never knew one with me like that. You really got Hands-On Skills. But after you was done you took it for a test run. Which I thought it was cool it did what it supposed to do in the water. I just did not see it catch any fish that is the biggest thinking about a lure when we go fishing we want to see if they catch fishs. Which disappointedly it did not catch a fish. next time please do a video where you are fishing and catching fish with your lures that you have made. Again thank you for your show.

@@latinofisherman4113 That is pretty low of you to promote the same thing he is doing on his channel but you ask and put a link on his channel to go over to your channel that to me is a cheap shot, using a quy working hard at his craft but you link yourself what he is doing to yourself on this channel should think before you just assume it is okay with the owner of this site to self advocate yourself to your ow channel.
