This isn’t the kind of stuff that you mass produce to put on shelf’s. It would take the workmanship out of the lures to be honest, they’d all have generic shapes and paint jobs- the opposite of what Nate does every day.

I started making my own lures during covid boredom, found your channel the same day, and have watched your videos while I work ever since. Thank you for doing what you do.

I've been making my own baits since I was a kid and didn't have the money to lose $10+ Rapala to snags. To a kid with no allowance, $10 was basically an infinite amount to me. Now...it's opposite...I'd rather lose the $10 than all the hours put into making a bait. The primitive baits I made as a kid were usually just a piece of wood with 45 degree angle cut into both ends, hole drilled down the center to feed a steel leader in place of line ties, and then painted in a fluorescent colour and tossed at pike.

Otherwise, I enjoy making a new lure, pushing my creativity with paint schemes and using them to catch fish with. I'm 15 and have been watching your channel ever since u did that pike bait years ago and I've always wanted to make baits and about 4 months ago I started pushing to try to make a business out of it I bought my first ban saw then chop saw then disc and belt sander and other necessities and all i need now is the bill material screw eyelets and clear coat and over all of this I just wanted to thank you for the help with literally EVERYTHING cause uve explained everything from how to do this if this happens how to do that everything. Thank you for opening up a view on my life that could potentially begin somthing. Thank you and live great.

Друг, сделай "гуляющую собаку", ели конечно ее можно сделать из дерева. Я очень люблю эту приманку, хотелось бы сделать самому, но я не знаю как. Friend, make a "walking dog", but of course it can be made of wood. I love this bait, I would like to make it myself, but I don't know how.

My family has made our own lures for we don't know how many generations... I know my great grandfather made his own. The only thing we sold was spiders for fly fishing back in the 60s to the 80s or so. But most everyone should remember their grandfather sitting on the porch carving out his next lure. Love seeing how others do there lures! Great videos to watch while I carve out my next lure.

Can't express how much I have missed watching the master create baits! The wife thinks it's weird though. Well she just doesn't understand!! Welcome back!
