Was at the game tonight and also last year in the championship series and world series. Tonight wasn’t even close to what cbp was like late in the postseason and it was still by far the loudest crowd today

Phillies are really loud. I watched postseason games of the Phillies in 2008-2011 i remember seeing how loud they are in the postseason. This is how baseball should be and i love it. I am jealous of Philadelphia of how loud they are without a doubt the best crowd in baseball hopefully they go far.

I was there and this has been taken up a notch. I think it’s the relationship with the players and fan. Harper started this crazy thing mr Philly, wearing all Philly stuff, all the fans standing ovations trea, bohm. Etc

I think it's because he usually starts the season with some average to above average starts, nothing crazy but sort of what you'd expect from the first man in the rotation. But then he always quietly corrects course toward the end of the season and puts up elite numbers

I thought the one where he sent Nick was bad , if he holds him you have runners at second and third still nobody out . I could see it if there were two outs though your not supposed to make the third out running the bases .

The NL East makes up literally half of the NL playoff field. If the Phillies (NL East team) win this series against an NL East opponent, they have to play another NL East opponent in the next series.

Phils almost always on the losing end of bad ump calls… a nice change, but shared

Umps were pretty bad for both teams. Wheeler had plenty of painted pitches that the K zone and statcast had as strikes that werent called strikes by the ump. His zone in the game was low and more inside to the RHB box.

​@@johnblze667 as a philly fan, wish the rays team had real fan support that they deserve. their excuses for why they don't go to games are just as mid. they deflect to traffic, calling out of work, and transplants, not realizing that those excuses only supports everyone's notion that there is 0 passion down there. transplants filling their parks when their teams are in town shows other fanbases have fans willing to take that drive to st petes so why cant the rays own fans do it too? if you have passion for your team, you're going to try everything you can to get to a game, especially a goddamn playoff game. minnesota had a day game too and still filled their park. guess ppl in minnesota don't work at all.

With this good atmosphere, it looks like the Phillies will go to a good place this year as well. The Twins created some drama, but the Phillies also look like they have a lot of momentum.

This was a good game to watch. The other playoff games had a lot of errors I suppose because of not much playoff experience. The Phillies look as good as they were during last year's playoffs.

Why is the playoff tv scoreboard super annoying/tiny ESPN. like it is so small and it is half the time you cant see the count cuz it shows the pitch type even though we can already tell what kind of pitch it is.
