Thank you! I don’t know about the water, I would not swim in Turkey till late April. But some people do already :) In the beginning of January in the sunshine in Marmaris it was warm enough to go out without a coat. On a rainy day it was colder

no, the payment is in Turkish lira cash or by card, so exchange rate is determined by the bank. I did make a mistake in conversion though with the first coffee shop, noticed only after publishing 🙈

50 lira for a parking fee for the whole night which is equivalent to U.S.3.70 that make me smile. If you go to San Francisco,Ca parking at downtown, the cheapest parking spot that you can find is $2.50 per hour

What’s the minimal wage in SF? Here in Turkiye it’s about 500USD. I think it’s best to compare in % from minimum wage. Also cars are more expensive in Turkiye than in Europe/US (sometimes almost double). Renting a car is not expensive though for some reason

So min wage in SF is x5 to Turkis min wage. From travelling and living in different countries I see that "cost of living" is quite often high for locals almost everywhere 😅.

I think 2-7 days. depends if you’re gonna go out to bars, chill on the beach etc. otherwise there is essentially a castle and a beach promenade
