That actually goes hard for a track from the 1950’s and from Indonesia no less. Good stuff, man 👍🏽

How to get sequence 2 to stop when sequence 3 starts, (if you are talking bout the sample) put a note that is in same mute group and lower volume to 0, and put it on 1-1 of sequence 3, that will mute the previous sample from playing … If this is what you are asking

For your question - You can turn a certain program group or sound to mute another. Just go to program group edit and see in global

Thx for the video. Let me share a tip with you in return: when arranging in Song Mode, if you press Record you can enter the pads shown above in your desired order without having to press Insert and then turning the big knob to find the right sequence. 😎

thanks for the tipp! I once read it in the mpc bible but forgot it again, will definitely use it next time 😌

The tailing sample carrying over to the next sequence is something i hate also. Only way I've found to fix it is to set the last sample as "note on" but then make sure it finishes just before the sequence ends. Love your stuff bro 🙏🏻

I copy the pad and make it a “note on” pad, then go into grid and make sure note end length reaches right spot for sequence transitions.

You can edit the audiotail in Sample edit. Simply shorten it and you're done
@erickescott386710 ай бұрын
to keep sample(s) from bleeding into next sequence trim the tail of the sample or take poly of the sample or even use the Decay.

hey man , when you rec the sample BOUNCE it and re-rec it as a one wave ,after erasing the midi notes ,that will prevent it from leaking into the next SQ.

Wenn du nicht willst, dass das Sample in der nächsten Sequenz spielt dann setz doch am Ende der Sequenz einfach ein Teil vom Sample mit Automation Volumen auf 0, dafür muss das Sample Mono sein.

@XAVR_8 ай бұрын
Depends what you mean by "everything". It's a complete music production workflow package, and is often referred to as a "DAW in a box", but you may want to integrate other instruments/MIDI devices for additional sounds, or output your track/performance into a PC DAW to have further options around mixing/mastering your final track

On the samples playing out and into the next sequence... I've also always wished there were a better way. All I usually do is automate the pad volume right at first of that sequence. When you return to the first sequence, it should jump back up where it was at. It's probably better to edit the sample to eliminate the tails... you know, copy pad and edit, then use that pad as the last one, instead. Still, just listing all the annoying ways you probably already know.
@Marrcello Жыл бұрын
Yeah exactly those workarounds are so strangely complicated ^^ thanks though😌🙏
@sb2406 Жыл бұрын
Just use note off for the last sample/pad playing on your sequence and length the note to the end of the sequence on the grid.
@lleevveell66 Жыл бұрын
@@Marrcello I just put an empty pad in a mute group w/ it and hit that, if I don't mind an abrupt stop (add some short release (70-ish) to them, if not). Otherwise, I tend to go for "note on" for everything. I work a lot in the grid, though, so I don't mind cleaning up in there.
