I believe the injury is real, for the simple fact that no woman would voluntarily look like that on TV. Brendan's behavior is consistent with his track record, because we know his more important thing is how he looks on camera. He still doesn't care for her as a wife.

Emily... that poor girl. What struck me through the end of the last and beginning of this episode was this. They are legally married. That man that barely likes her is her legal next of kin. THAT would've been the scariest part for me.

Austin is never going to give Becca what she wants. Austin was blindsided by her illness and if you go back and look at that moment his face showed that he was instantly no longer interested in the process other than just getting through it. At this point Austin should tell her. 🤠❤

I agree with y'all though. Austin needs to stop hyping up that they will do something at a certain point because this is the end result. He's allowed to not want to have sex with her, but his red flag is that he doesn't want to say what the ACTUAL issue is which is he's not sexually/physically attracted to her. Instead, he's leading her on. And I can't even feel embarrassed for Becca. Or even sorry for her. She just looks PITIFUL with her constantly begging him for more than a makeout session.

I’ve been watching the Australian version of MAFS. They are way more entertaining. I think it’s because in Australia they don’t marry them for real so it’s OK that the producers seek personalities that are good for tv vs compatible couples. The US version should try that for one season and see if it works.

I think it's the dinner parties & couch sessions with the experts that makes the AU version better. MAFS US should just try it exactly like MAFS AU & see if it helps. If the main problem is the matching, it might not help.

I disagree; I hope the U.S. MAFS doesn't try the commitment concept like Australia. Because the marriages are not real in the Australian version, I think a lot of the participants get on it for exposure to become celebrities and it shows; it comes off as a poorly acted soap opera. I watched it for a while during the earlier seasons. I quit when they had the same woman (Lizzie) on back to back seasons. Her "husband" left her in one season so they brought her back with a new "husband" the next season. When she walked into the group setting, the other participants treated her like she was an actual celebrity; some actually seemed star-struck.

Love the show as usual… A few things: the hospital likely wouldn’t let them film inside so they set up that scene for sure which was probably done after everything happened. I work in Pharma and they have hella rules in hospitals against almost everything, but especially filming the staff and any procedures without express pre-approval. 2. I thought the Dennis Rodman joke was hilarious. 3. Love is Blind is crazy this season. I posted about it on my social media and a lot of people didn’t know about it, but I assure you all the fuckery and foolishness is over there. Please review that one because it’s in Charlotte this season where I live 😂

ER's run by priorities. Cleaning her wound, low priority. They were likely waiting for a plastic surgeon to suture the wound since her head and face were involved. Also antibiotics can be given by mouth or in a shot, not necessarily an IV. It's very hard to tell from this angle what was actually going on in the ER. They might have been very busy, the camera crew might have been causing disruption in what they would usually do. I don't think it was staged but the sequence of events could have been edited for sure.

12:07 i’m sure production is not allowed to be in the actual hospital with those huge cameras and sound booms… So they could’ve set up the aftercare scene/kept her in her room longer just a capture something. But we all saw her forehead flapping open the previous episode! I highly doubt they would go that far to stage something like that.

As usual, you guys sum things up pretty accurately! Besides Claire being there alone which is unprecedented for the show and weird.... what really frustrated me is the Orion/Lauren stuff. It seems so staged by producers. Why would any self-respecting woman even continue to engage? Yeah, Emily seemed a little too cheery in some scenes after the accident. 😆Maybe the painkillers? ;) He's not all of a sudden bonded, or in love with her. I am living for the Mike/Chloe scenes! They're just cracking me up. Him alone in the tub looking at her all coy.... Lol. It's so obvious that she's responding and grinning through her teeth at this point. What an odd pairing. Michael is doing too much. At this point I think he's doing all this earring and skirt stuff to get a reaction out of Chloe. He's the guy that was unattractive in highschool and when he got to college he decided to put on this fake "I'm a cool eclectic guy" persona to get attention. I haven't seen a dude yet that wears a skirt and it looks like it came from the bargain bin at the thrift store AND it's wrinkled. 🤔😏
