Dan Vasc is from Brazil, he is classically trained and can sing from opera to heavy metal, he has his own band called Fearless, but Dan does covers for his solo stuff, and he likes turning non metal songs into heavy metal. Dan does all his own recordings in his home studio, and his videos in his garage. Dan has reached 1 million subscribers and has over 200 videos to choose from. No matter what you choose to react too it won't be wrong.

I don't think Dan tours. He produces everything himself in his garage and treasures the freedom that brings him. I'm sure he could make oodles of money if he gave up his independence, but he likes to be home and give his brother and childhood friends the opportunity to work with him and make a living. He is also saving to buy an apartment for his mother and likes to stay close to his entire family. He seems to be one of the most genuinely wonderful human beeings on the planet. Ever since I have come across him on KZbin, he has been my favorite artist of all time. Thank you for reviewing him. I was sent here by the Viking.

​​@maritacalaway7551 actually Dan and Fearless do some concert tours in Brazil ... when they feel like it! 😅 Early on Dan was trying to get signed on with a record company with Fearless, and, they were offered several contracts. After examining those contracts Dan realized they would lose all control over not just their records, but also over all their independent endeavors, all peripheral sales, and would be expected to pay all expenses from the pittance coming to them from record sales. None of it was fair, or, profitable to the artists who would be forced to follow grueling tour schedules just to pay the bills.. He realized he could cut out all the middlemen and have complete control of his own business, with 100% of the profit and tour only when and where he wanted or not ... as he pleased. So this past 14yrs Dan has done just that, build his own online business as he sees fit ... and it has taken much time and effort, but he is finally reaping the fruits of his hard work and unwavering determination! It's been a glorious journey, and its all there, chronicled in his youtube videos.❤

Dan is one of the best and he has the vocals to prove that. Dan can sing any genre from opera to heave metal and everything in between. He would make the phone book into a epic performance. Dan vocals are clean, emotional, inspirating, can see him enjoying what he is doing. He loves the Witcher and has 5 of them and Toss A Coin To You Witcher has over 28M views and Burn Butcher Burn is outstanding. Would recommend I'll Man A Man Our Of You (Mulan), Bohemian Rapsody (Queen), Dawn Over A New World (DragonForce), Son Of Pain (Rapsody Of Fire), O'Holy Night. His latest is My Heart Will Go On (Celine) with a metal twist. Forgot to mention An A American Trilogy (Elvis) His father was an Elvis fan and he did a tribute to his dad only 5 days after he died. Dan has 240+ songs in his catalog and you won't do wrong with any of them. He just has 1 million subscribers on KZbin and working on a celebration song and his pet project now to make a tribute album to Manowar. Shout to Viking for the recommendation. Thanks to Viking! Better late than never for you two to meet the most incredible performer on KZbin. This is such a creative, carefully-constructed, and very respectful delivery of this beloved hymn. You noticed that he played the harmonica to stand in for the bagpipes. In my opinion Dan Vasc has the most beautiful, most expressive, and most versatile male voice I've heard in many years, with power and charisma to burn (and I’m a long-time opera lover). Try The Music of the Night or Gethsemane if you're a musical theater fan, any of the Witcher songs, especially Burn Butcher Burn for great "metalized" covers (also A Kiss from a Rose or Adele's Rolling in the Deep), Nessun Dorma if you're an opera fan, and folk, Broadway, ballads, Disney... pretty much anything you want, Dan can sing. The harmonica he plays in "Amazing Grace" his father gifed him when he was 7. Dan is a very humble man. He has in his covers documented his growth starting around 2009. He dedicates and shares his suicide prevention in his channel he" Don't Give Up, You Are Loved", shares a heart felt comment on a cover Chester did. Usually he will share some comments right after he does a cover . His Metal Version of "America's National Anthem ". Is incredible !!! However you must watch his "Apology video" Right after ! Thanks for the great reaction to this song by Dan Vasc. He gave us the best version of Amazing Grace that I have ever heard, and of course, there are so many. Dan is a Brazilian symphonic power metal singer and has a band called Fearless. They have one album, Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom. He was offered a record deal but turned it down because they would take most of his profits and have complete control over his choices. Instead, he concentrated solely on YT and slowly started building his following. That was about 8 years ago. He set a goal to reach 1 million subscribers and did just that this month. Dan sings metal (his first love) but also almost every genre from opera to Broadway and movie/TV tunes, '80's rock and more. He has been classically trained and his range is 4 octaves. I recommend you check out his most recent, a cover of My Heart Will Go On. He reimagines this sad ballad into a power metal anthem that is outstanding. One of my favorites is his cover of I'll Make a Man Out of You from the Disney Mulan movie. It is so much fun and full of surprises. There are so many more so I hope you will react to more. Dan is an amazing artist who often appears on podcasts with his friends from the US. Dan lives in Brazil. I have never heard him speak about himself in the 3rd person. That was a joke in his bio.

At first I wasn’t sure if she was disliking it. But after I heard her story I understand she was just sad remembering her friend that passed. Because of the versatility, and vast skills that Dan excels at, I would have to say in my honest opinion that he is the unmatched voice of this generation. I call him The Treasure From Brazil! Dan sings in various languages, different genres, he has a phenomenal vocal range, skillful at videography, he mixes and masters his music, he plays different instruments, he does musical arrangements, writing, composing, he is skillful with drama and stage presence, he can sing all parts and harmonies of Handel’s Hallelujah all by himself using his voice as the entire choir, he can do a heavy metal scream with vibrato and control in full power for over 30 seconds, and he can do much more than that! I am in full love and support of Dan’s skills, gifts, and talents that he brilliantly carries and shines at. I believe Dan ( who is Brazilian) said he put that 3rd person reference in his bio. as a joke. He has a sense of humor and is a musical chameleon and WIZARD. Try Angels We Have Heard on High sung in 4 languages. The last and best verse is done in English. He loves metal, but the aria Nessun Dorma is also great. His Music of the Night and Gethsemane are Broadway worthy. HE HAS DONE EVERYTHING, but not Country and Rap. His Scarborough Fair, Loch Lomond, and I'll Take the Ring (from Lord of the Rings) are beautiful. The Last Goodbye is so touching. His band Fearless was started with his younger brother Davi, and friends Gabriel Belozi, and Giovanni Rezende. Their best video was with Fabio Leone, Dan's musical "hero", singing Dawn of Victory!

Hello there guys and welcome to Dan Vasc´s world. First things first Dan Vasc stands for Daniel Vasconcelos, he is a Brazilian singer who sings in Portuguese, very little these days, but also in Italian, German and English. He is a amazing singer who travels through different genres not disappointing those who listen to his covers. He has been offered a contract, but the slave type of deal, five years, five albums, 10% only of the total earnings and no creative control at all so he declined and went independent. My next suggestion to you guys would be Nessun Dorma, an aria from the final act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot, The Music of the Nigh a major song from the 1986 musical The Phantom of the Opera and "Hallelujah" from Handel's Messiah one man choir, Kiss from a Rose by Dan Vasc ft. Well, I like Tommy but when I found Dan that was it. There’s something different about him, it’s not just his voice, tone and tremendously musical genius, but I think it’s about his soul…Dan touches our hearts through his singing, he pours his essence in every song, he certainly is an old soul who has been singing throughout eternity. When my husband died, the Scottish community sent a lone piper to the cemetery. He stood on the hill above, silhouetted against the sun and played Amazing Grace as the casket was lowered into the ground. That was 40 years ago and hearing this song done with bagpipes still sends me weeping.

Dan plays the harmonic and learned from his dad when he was very young. His dad is gone and must have been very difficult because it shows up in his singing certain songs. I’m so happy I am part of the Vasc Nation. I love Viking too, awesome he recommended Dan. The other thing I would say, I wish your screen was larger similar to Viking’s.

First a very nice tribute to your friend Tommy donahue, may his name be for blessed memory. I love Viking. I thought he went head over heels with Pentatonix but with Dan vasc he he did a back dive with a pike triple twist and landed in the water without a splash. Dan took a hymn and turned it into an Anthem. Dan doesn't just sing a song He emotes a song. He doesn't cover of bring me life and Viking took the cover and set it against the video for bring me life and it is stunning

Viking sent me. What a beautiful dedication to your Dad. I’m so sorry for your loss. I could tell by your reaction that you didn’t think Dan messed it up by screaming through the whole thing.😊 I noticed your wife’s expression when Dan started playing the harmonica. He plays it in only one other song. “Loch Lamond.” Please react to “Burn Butcher Burn”. It’s my favourite Dan Vasc song to watch people react to. I like Tommy’s music too, (and lots of others as well) but my ears strongly prefer to listen to Dan. 🏆 He’s top notch 🎙️🎶🎶🎶

I just watched your reaction to Dan's Amazing Grace but I know that it was my second time because I remembered your story about your friend passing away right before your wedding. I did not see a comment by me. A. Grace was the very first time I had ever heard Dan and it left me with my mouth open. I was compelled to explore his work and it has been a great journey so far. The ironic thing is that Dan has talked about Sabaton more than a few times and also mentioned Tommy. I have a fairly busy life so I was trying watch as many of Dan's songs as I could. Then I would have to check out other bands and I love Victor the Guitar Nerd who Dan uses in several videos,so I follow him. I love watching reactors hearing this song as a first-time reaction because it is so surprising. Early this year there was a lot of buzz online about Tommy leaving Sabaton which was apparently a huge deal, so I Googled Tommy and listened to some of his country music covers. I have been exposed to country a lot as I live in the southern U.S. I was immediately drawn into Tommy's musicality and personality and I am 100% pulling for his success as a solo artist and with Majestica. I now use a Tommy Playlist to workout to. It is o.k. for us to be big fans of both of these artists because they are completely different and special. Thank you.☺

Dan usually references himself as "yours truly" lol. @VikingReacts sent me! 😅. I love Tommy and Dan both. Probably equally. Nice first reaction to Dan. Based on your channel name it is not surprising you have a Sabaton logo on your shelf behind you. 😊 ❤ Some of my favorites (currently anyways) are Tears of the Dragon, Nessun Dorma, Handel's Hallelujah, Number of the Beast and all of his Nightwish covers. Viking has sort of unofficially adopted Dan Vasc, at least as a personal project. You can't go wrong with his advise, or you can check out the 250 or so covers on his site to find something that floats your boat. He also works with two metal bands in Brazil, his home country. They were Orion's Reigm. and his current Fearless, which has their own original material.

Although I adore Tommy J and consider him the more skilled musician, Dan has edged him out, in my opinion, as a vocalist due to his versatility and various textures of his voice. His emotional connection to songs is unparalleled and often gets tears in his eyes while he sings. Several songs are for his father who passed away from cancer, and his emotion is so touching and raw. He can growl with the best metal singers and then perform Nessun Dorma with the best opera singers, and everything in between.

If you know the musical Jesus Christ superstar, you will remember Neeley playing the lead role of Christ. The song Gethsemane is very powerful and Dan sings and lives the role better than Neeley in my opinion.

Love Tommy, Dan and Erik. Tommy is a music genius, all his covers are upgrades. He even makes Country sound great. I don't think Dan is way better. Each to their own.

They are both phenomenal artists. Should not really be compared. If they ever did a collaboration project I think they would compliment each other very well.
