You have only scratched the surface of what this man can do vocally. He has voiced your own comments: He doesn't believe in talent. He believes in working hard and becoming skilled at what you are doing. He has done that for over 13 years. He is now 34 and he is a Brazilian YT singer who records for his garage studio. He does everything himself. He has guest guitarists play on some of his videos. He originally started with his band called Fearless and they have 1 album. He sings almost every genre of music from metal to opera, classic rock, movie and Broadway songs, acoustic, etc. so you can have have him on any day of the week. You really should see all of his Witcher covers. He has a playlist of them. They are all incredibly good, just like this one. He is a gamer, too, and Witcher 3 is his favorite. I really enjoyed your reaction. Yes Dan is also a gamer. If you check out “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher”, definitely listen to the outro, or he talks about his feelings on the Witcher franchise. Yes, he did wear contacts for this one although he said they did not give him the look he had planned. Your comments on talent and work are interesting because Dan apparently doesn’t like to consider himself talented. He considers himself a person who has worked very hard. Personally, I acknowledge all his hard work, but I also think the talent must be present as a foundation. Dan was obsessed with gaming by age 8. He often appears playing & discussing games, movies, culture, etc. on Geeks & Gamers panels. Also guests often on Fri. Night Tights, Nerdrotics, and Side Scrollers. Must check out his interaction with his gaming friends. You might appreciate his humor. I was impressed by his knowledge of the record industry and culture of the current film industry. As a Brazilian, he is extremely proficient explaining a myriad of topics in English - which is not his first language. He is man of many talents and opinions. Great reaction! Dan is absolutely phenomenal. In this one he actually wore some contact lenses to try to get the "witcher eyes" but because of the natural color of his eyes, in his words, it came out looking like he was something out of the "Twilight" movies. You should check out the first Witcher cover he ever did: Toss a Coin to Your Witcher. He also did two covers of Priscilla's Song from the game -- one metal version and one acoustical version. Head down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole. He can sing everything from opera, to Disney, to metal - though metal is his preferred genre. He's also a gamer, BTW!

Great reaction! Amazing isn’t even the word for Dan. You can see the classical and metal voice training that he has - he’s worked very hard on his voice and his singing, and in my opinion, as a voice junkie for many years, he’s the most versatile and surprising singer I’ve ever heard. Gorgeous voice, insane range, unbelievable breath control, great expressiveness, and power and charisma to burn. Not to mention all the production skills he has, as you mentioned. Wow, you managed to nail an almost perfect description of Dan on your first exposure to one of his performances. Dan doesn’t tout his “talent”, he’s been working on his voice for over a decade to get it where it is today. He is proud yet very humble about his vocal skills and would be the first to admit that it has taken a lot of hard work to be able to do what he can do. His first video is still on his channel so you can compare that to his current performances. Dan Vasc can send goosebumps from the tip of your head to your toes. He does everything from opera to metal. Some videos you should see are Gethsemane, Phantom of the Opera, Battle Hymn, Black Wind Fire and Steel(holding of notes in this one is unreal). He does a lot of Nightwish covers. He does American Trilogy an Elvis cover that will bring you to tears. He recorded it 5 days after his Father passed in 2017. His Father was a big Elvis fan. You won't be sorry no matter what you listen to.

I read the 104 comments posted in the 8 hours after you posted this review. I agree with all of the praise for Dan and his singing abilities. I would like to add: Dan wrote and performs the theme song to Friday Night Tights. His video "My Top 10 Singing Influences" lists the singers and techniques he learned from each one. Fabio Lione and the band Rhapsody of Fire was an early favorite of Dan's. Recently Fabio came to Brazil. He and Dan, accompanied by Dan's band Fearless did a cover of Rhapsody's song Dawn of Victory. It was recorded in Dan's studio in his garage. The joy of these two performing together is so moving. Dan is sooo close to his goal of 1,000,000 subscribers. He is at 983K on April 5, 2024. Your reaction and enthusiasm for his skill will win you many subscribers. Thank you for this video. I’m looking forward to hearing more Dan on the Metal Wednesday, but keep in mind that not everything he does is Metal. Otherwise you could end with an opera video on Metal Wednesday. Btw. he does opera quite well. You should watch Nessun dorma too. Regarding his eyes: I cannot find the interview where he talked about this lenses. Somebody in the comment section might know it better: As far as I remember he bought lenses to look like the witcher, but due to his natural eye color and the light, it doesn’t work. Dan Vasc is someone very, VERY special. As I've said to many other reactors, he will NEVER stop surprising you with what he can do; his range is ridiculous, he can do just about any genre with ease - and he brings every nuance of emotion to everything he sings. He also does Pricillas song in both metal and non metal and the Song of the White Wolf, Toss a Coin To The Witcher, besides TONS of other covers. He has a band called Fearless and they have a couple of albums. He is a big gamer and has said it's his second love after singing. He's done all of this on his own, has a studio he made in his garage. He does have a few people who play the guitars for him, but he also can play, just usually doesn't. He's had classical training and used to be a voice coach. He is Brazilian and english is not his native language. He is amazing!!!

The first piece I heard by him was Amazing Grace and it remains my favorite. I’m not religious but it is a gorgeous piece of music and he gave it new life. It is simply stunning. I’m not a metal fan so have only sampled some of his pieces and have passed this by. But I saw you were reacting to it so gave it a try. It won’t ever be my favorite, but my god, his range and versatility!! Now I need to go back and try something else I’ve passed by. Thank you for a great reaction. Dan Is the Best in every cover he does. Daniel Vasconcelos from Brazil is also a games and has many gaming videos with other players. He doaes podcasts and other stuff he does with gamers. He has no backup singers. He records all of his own backups all on his own in his garage. He produces it all himself.
