I’ve been a podcast junkie for over a decade-back when I thought it was ‘hip’ to listen to podcasts 😂. That said, your podcast has quickly become one of my absolute favorites, and I find myself wishing new episodes would drop even sooner! Mike brings a fascinating layer to the show with his storytelling, diving into his law experience and cases that are always captivating. Ashley, your warm tone and sweet, comical personality provide the perfect balance. I love how you two can playfully poke fun at each other and share those lighthearted moments-it makes the podcast feel so genuine and fun. Your dynamic feels so wholesome, and this podcast has become something I genuinely look forward to every week. Keep up the amazing work!

You two are such a great balance for one another! Your discussion around family dynamics and how your family structure came to be is just as fascinating as well. I will have to check out the Betrayal podcast and that Hulu documentary. Thanks for the great content!

I love the insight into how the law business works from a financial sense. I figured all lawyers got a salary, not realizing that a small law office is like all small businesses where the owners are always the last to be paid, only if anything is left over. I say this on every episode, but the dynamic is great, and I love banter.

I'm with Ashley i have my company take an extra 10% out of my paychecks after tax 5% for retirement matching and 5% for additional taxes not having to worry about coming up with money at the end of the year is truly a relief

17:52 One of my favorite animals is the Numbat and there's basically no stuffed numbats in the non-craftsman market. If you still struggle to find one highly recommend seeing if you can get one custom made, maybe even make your own if you have the time to learn to sew. I know it was a throw away point but I relate to this struggle lol

So the same time Taylor Swift was downtown Atlanta, Ministry was playing at the Tabernacle.. I in fact, was going to see Ministry. The two groups wandering around the area was.. interesting. I did say to a few obvious Swifties... "So, looking forward to seeing Ministry tonight?" The looks I got in response.. yeah, I was having fun, them, not so much.

20:20 I love musicals and when you go to a live musical you cannot be singing aloud. It is incredibly bad form and it makes it hard to like the show.

Well, Mike and .... have we heard Mike's wife's name mentioned? Anyway, as I have subscribed to your channel, as long as YT notifies me that you have posted a new video with you two together, I will be watching them. So you will have at least one person watching until I keel over. As for going out, y'all sound like me: an extroverted introvert. You want to be around people but you have a definite limit as to how much time you want to be around them. I will say for the golfing thing, Mike, you don't have to talk all the time. There is such a thing as comfortable silence. Reading or not reading up on child rearing: totally understand. This is Mike's first experience with having a baby so let him experience it first-hand. Glad to hear Mrs. Rafi is going to rediscover who she is this year. As a widower, I'm learning I need to figure that out about myself as well. Good luck! (And sorry if y'all have mentioned Mrs. Rafi's name--I listen while doing house chores so I probably wasn't tuning in too well.)

Taxes are so horrendous in this country... its not about paying what you owe to run the country, or paying your fair share.. its all about power. Im sure you would love if the Fair Tax got enacted and this massive burden on you as a business was lifted. I feel bad for you having to live through that mess.. and for your accountant who made a simple error who probably turned white as a ghost when she realized her mistake. Our tax code sucks balls.

I'd love it if you'd make a different channel for these.
@MikeRafiLawyer3 күн бұрын
Why would you prefer that?
@zachansen82932 күн бұрын
@@MikeRafiLawyer I'm sure she's a wonderful person and that she's great for you but I have zero interest in her opinions. You're a great storyteller but the people you bring on to talk on your videos are usually not particularly talented in that area. I would put this hypothetical channel on do not recommend so I wouldn't see them but I'd still be subscribed to your main channel.
@NickACrowley2 күн бұрын
@@zachansen8293I believe you're in the minority opinion. So many of us love Ashley and their dynamic, bouncing off each other so well. If you don't to watch them, don't. The KZbin algorithm will soon realise that you don't watch these videos and won't recommend them.
@zachansen82932 күн бұрын
@@NickACrowley great. That's why I didn't say he should stop making them. I just said they should be in another channel so people can choose to filter them out or subscribe to both. See how that works for both of us?
