Looks like the light is performing very well!!! Nice seedlings!!! I am growing many of the same exact ones from Ana!! Yours are a bit older. They give me some insight on what to expect in a year! All look great!!! Can't believe how big the turbinicarpus seedlings are in just that little time!!! My ariocarpus fissuratus seedlings are very slow also, Ariocarpus grow so slow , you just have to wait them out!! I once read in a book about cactus of the southwest USA. That an ariocarpus in the wild that is large could be over 100 years old!! Very slow! I guess this could be very likely cause I have two lophos that are about to turn 40. One is a clump of about 6 heads. The other stayed a solitary plant and is only a couple of inches wide. You can tell their age by looking at the way the ribs compressed over the years giving the bottom of the stems a "twisted" look. Cactus live so long I guess they really arnt in a hurry! Hahaha! Great video Daz!! Love seeing the great results of this light!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks, to the U.K. & Singapore, have a great day!!! Peace,Love,Plants!!!!✌💖🌵🌷🌴🌺🌲🌻🌸

Thank you so much Clyde 😊 I don’t think I’m going to grow Ariocarpus from seed again, they’re too slow haha. Yeah I’ve read as well they can reach grand ages. Would love to see your Lophs, but I know you cant really show them on video, but would to see some pics of them if you sent them to my email? Thank you so much for watching and commenting as always my friend, from Edith & myself to you and Deb, have a wonderful weekend 🌵☀️🌼🌺🌸🏜

Hi Daz, I don't know anything about rust on cacti, but I've started some Plumeria indoors from seed over the summer and they all got rust. I've successfully treated it by spraying the leaves and top of the soil with a mix of water, baking powder, detergent and neem (about a tablespoon each to a liter of water). Sprayed them 3 times a week first, then 2, then 1, and now I'm just going to do it occasionally. The older leaves that didn't fall off due to the rust, still have the brown spots obviously, but the new leaves seem to remain 'clean'. A lot of work to make the fungal spray every week but it did the trick for the Plumeria. Best wishes and thanks for the upload. Congrats on your seedlings, the 'spider web' plant is incredible!

@Cactimania 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Nathalie 😊 I’ll keep that mixture in mind if this other fungus spray I’ve just ordered doesn’t work. I do have some neem oil already and pretty sure I’ve got some baking powder somewhere in the kitchen haha. Always a problem this time of year with the cold and high humidity for fungal issues but hopefully I can successfully treat them. Thank you for watching and commenting, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful weekend 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜

Good results and lots of seedlings 👌! Loving the tiny bunches of cacti, the ariocarpus😃, the mini Gasterias🥰 and that "special" mihanovichii is very interesting🧐... But the prettiest today have been the elephantipes, no doubt😍👏👏👏: So cute! Have a good weekend 🤗🌺☮️🌵💗.

I love the thumbnail,Sweetheart! So clear that you can see the skin and pores on it. ❤️ Those seedlings are loving it under that grow light! 😍 You have a choice of green, jade or slightly darker carpet.😆 that would be a feat repotting them come spring time. It will be a test of patience too. I love the caudex on those D. elephantipes. They are soooo cute. Can’t wait for the end of the giveaway and when you announce the winner. So exciting! ❤️🥳🥳🥳❤️

Thank you so much my love 😊 Yeah they’re all doing so well under this grow light. Haha yeah some of those pots are very full, probably has restricted their growth a bit being so cramped in, back when I sowed way too many seeds per pot 😂 Definitely going to be busy in the spring separating all these, plus all the others from the previous video, wonderful 😂 Love the elephantipes as well, I might repot a couple of them soon and do a video on that, we’ll see 😊 Looking forward to announcing the winner of the giveaway as well, not long to wait now 🥳 Thank you as always babe for all your love, support and encouragement ❤️🥰🤗😘♾❤️

Hi Daz! This MARS HYDRO seems to be really doing its job of promoting healthy and fast growth on your seedlings. All looking great. But besides how good they look I'm also thinking, you are nearer towards achieving your dream of having your very own nursery. Much luck to both you and Edith towards achieving this dream. Have a wonderful day, guys.

You did so many seed propagation this year! That grow light sure covered a lot. Many of the seedlings are looking good and are screaming to get out of their baby pots. 😄
@Cactimania
@Cactimania 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Ana 😊 Even if the grow light doesn’t cover them all, it’s a good idea to rotate the plants around every few days so all of them are getting some time directly under the light. I think I’ll get a grow tent soon, I’d like to have one dedicated area just for seedlings. Will be a busy spring potting all these up haha. Thank you for watching and commenting as always Ana, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful weekend 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜☕️

Pheeeeew! First , great success and well done. As a orchid grower myself I understand the patience needed to grow A number of plants that take there time, and it's obvious that cactus and Succulents are no different, but, The patience needed to separate all of the seedlings in some of them pots Will be a wonder to behold lol, The next vid on separating that lot will be about 6 hour's long per pot! Only joking, I look forward to to the up date,well done to you both,Bill.
@Cactimania
@Cactimania 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊 Haha yes separating them all is my least favourite job, but has to be done. Might start sowing directly into large trays soon to save some time. Will still need separating but not when they’re so small. Thanks for watching and commenting, have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜

@Cactimania
@Cactimania 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊 Yeah it would be nice if this grow light covered just a little more area, but I do rotate the plants around so they’re all getting some time directly under the light, apart from the slightly stretched ones but they’ll be going directly under it today. I have a easter lily cactus from 10 years, and it becomes bigg now and with offstets. But i saw yellowish bottom again on the mother plant and the babies is that normal? And the cactus keeps round or it gets tall?
@Cactimania

@@Cactimania no worries, I'll keep it in mind when I'm looking for a bigger one. The 600 is for my cacti, but the bigger house plants are outgrowing their small lights so it's time for some upgrades
