The thing I love most about your videos is that, rather like Geoff, you are always totally on brand. It's a very different brand to Geoff's of course, but I'm a big fan of both. Both are highly creative and way more interesting/educational than they should be! Good to see you dipping your toe into the new station nerd bucket too. cheers!

To be even compared to Geoff in a sentence is high praise enough. I'm honoured, as I'm sure you can tell, I've learned so much from watching his work. I'm trying to create a style of my own that is consistent and of good quality, so I appreciate that you have noticed what you call a brand. Mostly though, I am so pleased that people are enjoying what I create. It has been a very fun journey up to now!... even having to get up at 04:30 sometimes!

Very nice. The new Marsh Barton station is very nice. Shame that most stations are having ticket machines and ticket kiosks at most railway stations are to close or have reduced hours which does seem reasonable but at the same time quite worrying.

Removal of ticket offices is a scandal, unless you can show to me that machines can provide all the services. Hopefully Marsh Barton will get used a lot. It will take a while until the locals become aware of it and it becomes part of their travel plans.

The reason why Marsh Barton railway 🚃 station 🚉 is open since early July 2023 because it’s more convenient for railway 🚃 passengers to use the station 🚉 which holds up ⬆️ to 4 carriages using class 150s, 158s, 165s and 166s. The platform looks very nice 👌. Marsh Barton is an unstaffed railway 🚃 station 🚉 , no toilets 🚽, however a self service is provided at the station 🚉. There are plenty of lights 💡 💡 💡 💡 at the station 🚉. It’s a step free because there are wheelchair 🦼 🦽 ♿️ users. Only GWR - Great Western Railway 🚃 provincial services stop 🛑 at Marsh Barton runs daily including public holidays except Christmas 🎄🎅 🧑‍🎄 🤶 Day and Boxing 🥊 Day. Perhaps 🤔 I could visit Marsh Barton railway 🚃 station 🚉 at some point. 👍 👍

Thanks for watching and commenting. It is worth a visit and then you can see a little view of the canal. Then you could continue on to Dawlish and some other seaside towns. It is very beautiful along that line in Devon 👍

Haha no. And breakfast was fairly rudimentary though I did manage a cracking lunch with my daughter and her partner a bit later! 👍

I don't know. I do wonder if there was an old station because back on steam days I don't think there would be anything much at Marsh Barton that would warrant a station. There was one a bit further down closer to Exminster.
