Marshall Crenshaw is a great picker. One of the best. Great vocalist too. Big fan!

Have appreciated Marshall Crenshaw since I first heard him in the eighties ... and by then I was already a huge Buddy Holly fan.

Probably what Buddy would have played like had he lived. Great playing by Marshall. I bet the Crickets felt like they were back in 1958 again.

I had this record. I had it signed by the Crickets back in 1987 in Carlton Mn, at "Bee Bops Ballroom". My house burned down in 2001. Lost it all!.

Marshall Crenshaw was always one of my favorite musicians. I was very envious of my dad for having gotten to hear him when he was a kid. I kinda feel like I got just that with Marshall. And yes, I’m a super fan and I did sort of copy his look. Tried to, anyway. Hahaha.

Marshall Crenshaw performing with the Crickets his performing Buddy's early material before he became popular. Being that Marshall Crenshaw performed with the Crickets it's as though Buddy Holly had been there. Because he sounds a bit like the man from Lubbock, Tx. A very fine music presentation.

Marshall Crenshaw recreates an authentic Holly sound. The Crickets (with Gordon Payne) never sounded better. This is real treat for any Buddy Holly and the Crickets fan.

Absolutely!!!!!! They sounded so great!! I got to see the Crickets in a very small venue back in about 1989. I was 10 years old. My dad dropped me and my younger brother off and paid our way in and left us to this amazing show! Got a signed autographed photo of the Crickets! I was super excited seeing them! I was always a Buddy Holly fan since I can first remember listening to music!!! Ha! Buddy was my inspiration to play guitar myself and after I had a year under my belt showing interest my dad bought me a new Fender Stratocaster electric guitar with sunburst body just like Buddy's!! I was 10 at the time!.. I'm 41 now. Lol! And I still have that beautiful guitar! Today is the anniversary of the crash .. so sad. Truly amazing there was this amazing talent in Marshall Crenshaw to portrait Holly and continue his wonderful songs! Holly's great music lives on!

Had the honor of opening, with my Rockabilly band, in Philadelphia in 1983, Marshall Crenshaw was a great guy and one heck of a songwriter, always thought he should have gone further. His band put out a lot of sound for 3 guys, his brother was on drums.

Blue days, black nights, blue tears keep on fallin' For you dear, now you're gone Blue days, black nights, My heart keeps on callin' For you dear, and you alone Memories of you make me sorry I gave you reason to doubt me7 But now you're gone and I am left here all alone With blue memories, I think of you Blue days, black nights, I didn't realise I would miss you, the way I do And now somehow I know I will pay For the times I have made you blue Memories of you make me sorry I gave you reason to doubt me But now you're gone and I am left here all alone With blue memories, I think of you
