I have the major 3 wired. The only gripe that I have with it is that the mic failed after a year of use. Had to get another cable. Couldn't find the original in stock. These don't sound great when u use them on a phone but let me tell you the sound quality and bass is otherworldly when you plug it in on a pc. I've used premium headphones before from Sony and Philips but there is a limit to the depth of the base. The Major 3 always feels like it has more to give.

Thx you actually said more about sound quality then the author of this video, that seems to be shocked that he could use 1 button on headphones to control music playback etc... while its implemented on the phone side, and work with any headphones with one button. BTW 99% of PC built-in aoudio is piece of crap check any half descent usb dac - for cheap stuff I recommend FiiO E10K you will definitely hear the difference.

Audio sharring is very good. I use it a lot. Connecting to headphones, and then to my hi-fi. In this situation i have bluetooth over my hi fi. And IT worka great

Nice video, man! Can I use the microphone on my pc while using Discord and playing games? Is it good for that kind of use? Or is it only for calls? This could be a really silly question but I really wanted to be sure. Thanks for this review again!

Its a good question and it depends on your computer. Some computers - mainly tablet/laptop computers have the single port for both mic and audio, but most desktop computers do not. If you have the 2 separate ports on your computer (pink and green usually) then it work work - unless you are able to get an adaptor potentially. You could always use the discord app on your phone to get around this

Also there is a Bluetooth version of these same headphones - that should in theory work for this, they are bit more expensive than the wired ones

@@talhaakyldz7739 A good quality splitter should not impact the sound quality noticeably. - hopefully that would work fine. You might find you have less issues with a purpose designed PC gaming headset with a boom mic. should still work with the splitter just fine however. Let me know how you go :)

Thanks for watching and for the feedback. Im actually not sure 100 percent to check for authenticity. if you buy direct from Marshall or from a reputable retailer you should be fine. Mine did not have serial number on the headphones either. I think if it was an imitation, hopefully you could tell from the materials - a lot of imitation products are made very cheap and nasty. I didn't test it with a guitar but I think it would be pretty good. Marshall is pretty well known for their guitar amps

Im really late to your comment but i just saw it so if youre still considering heres my reply! Ive been using these headphones for 3 years now both for general use and also I plug them in my amp for playing bass guitar and the sound is magnificent. These headphones are truly made for low notes. I can clearly hear every note I play without muddyness and the notes dont blend together which happens with most headphones when playing low bass notes. Their mids are good too. So I strongly reccommend! Just be aware to not crank up the volume too high.

also I'm writing this because I made this mistake when I was just starting out, no headphones work when you plug em straight to the guitar/bass or whatever. You need some kind of amplifier in between lmao

You should be able to tell from the quality if it is fake. Also if you buy from a reputable retailer you should have no issues

Hello. thanks for the review. I'm planning to get one. I would like to know how durable the headphone is. ie, almost every headphones that I've used, the PU covering starts to peel off from the ear cushions. will that be the case with this one too? It looks like it will hold up for long-term usage. but I want to make sure how durable the cushions are.

@hxrrt I ordered a used Marshall major III from Amazon. It came in the original package. But the package was messed up. There was dust inside the package and on the headphones. But the headphones are working great. I ordered the black one. Overall, Avery good pair of headphones with balanced sound output. I use equaliser to get the desired sound. The included spiral aux cable (with mic) is also of good quality. I use it for gaming, music and videos. Works just fine. One issue that may bother is that it cannot be used for longer duration since it is an on-the-ear headphones. Rest everything is good.

This is the wired version and I dont think there is an app. There is a wireless version of this same headset and maybe this has an app but I am not sure. The Sony XM4 are really great though, Its what I use everyday.

Ah yes they look and feel better. Higher quality material and sound better. As long as the mic will interface with the pc (if you need it). At that price point I think its a bargain. Thanks for watching

Thanks for watching. I dont have any experience with the audio technica 500BT but they are a good brand for sound quality. Depends as well if you want noise cancellation because the Marshall iii does not have. For consumer grade i would suggest the Sony xm4 or the xm3 is nearly as good but a bit cheaper. Good luck

I have these headphones and im selling them, the audio is preety bad and they volume always stays preety low, they get preety unconfortable after 40 minutes of use. The mids in this headseat realy suck, trust me, im selling them.

@@matthieud.2957 I bought a sennheiser momentum 3. I know its am bit expensive BUT, has support for aptx low latency (50 or less milisecond blutoth delay) so you can play an instrument, watch moovies and play games with it without any wires, batery life is eneught and sound quality is amazing, plus, its is possible to equalize it to get a near flat sound if you want to produce music with it. Its a 200 euro diference or so, but its absolutely worthit, i am super happy with it.

You could also consider the audio technica m50x (no blutoth) or m50xbt (blutoth). The only reason i haven't bought these is because i rly wanted aptx low latency.
