I met him years ago in a pizza shop in Boston. He was with two others. I said hello and and wished him a great season. I didn't ask for his autograph or bug him for a picture. This man bought my lunch and shook my hand. He thanked me for being respectful. So he gave me an autograph and took a pic with me lol. Amazing man.

Marshawn has come a very long way. I use to kick it with him in Oakland. He had it bad coming up. Pops wasn't around, damn near homeless, many hungry nights. I let him post up with me as much as I could with my parents permission. It was rough. I still damn near cry tears of joy that this brotha made it. He's humble because his beginnings were. The man deserves it all. Nobody gave him s**t.

Marshawn is 100% correct in wanting to communicate with the boy's father in this situation. There are just some things only men are going to be able to understand and connect on. Football is one of those. Especially if the father has played before.

As a former professional athlete, I completely understand being yelled and cussed at when not giving your all. That's what a coach is for, to push you to your very best even if that means having to become a drill Seargent. I love this MAN!🖤 “is there a man here with you?” That’s a real one right there. Some might not understand, but I could tell he was flustered. That was some old school chivalry that a lot of people may not understand and may even take offense to. I have always seen him to be a stand up guy. Everybody has a past but I always see him on an upward trajectory and even when he is upset he tries his best to do the right thing. That’s a King right there.

Hes not out there to be a talking puppet for anyone, hes not out there with his own agenda or things he wabts to push people towards. Hes just a regular guy who handles things like we all do, gets flustered like we all do, and doesnt want to be misunderstood....as we all dont. Charles Jackson I guarantee that when these moms aren’t around, these boys are cursing up a storm. The only people hurting those boys is the overbearing mothers that are worried that their sons feelings may be hurt. This is football not ballet. That's why these camps are typically more so an orientation than a real football camp. Lynch could've apologized for his behavior and it would've been done and over with, but instead he used the same language speaking to the mother that he did with her kid. That's not a football-thing.
