In July 1997, my son & I went behind Clovely Farms in Cut Off, LA We busted them up, 4 hrs. 68 bass, all on a worm. they were in the mullets. I have it logged & pictures. 1 went 3lb. 10oz. I like watching your videos, keep it up. GRO-JOE

This gem re surfaced in my recommended watch list. The string of curse words when you broke off was just as funny as you dancing away from the yellow jacket that was five bombing. Miss Joel, get him back already!!!

Hey Marsh Man, enjoyed the video and especially your and your fishing buddies reaction to losing fish! It reminds me of some golfing friends that shared what a relaxing sport it is, then follow up by throwing the club about 50 yards because the bad shot. Glad you did not throw everything overboard!!! Just kidding, but we all have been there. Thanks for the tips and bait recommendation for catching MRGO trout.

What I’ve found with fluoro you have to be real careful when tightening the knots because the line heats up and causes friction, either make less loops or more lube when cinching it down

Another great video. I read the comments. The guy who thinks he's a biologist should research why those bass don't get to be five lbs. I have some fishing videos that I've posted to KZbin and had to do a "catch and release" because some local guys think I keep too often We eat a lot of fish but I also give fish to my neighbor who really appreciates it.

Todd you may want to change to a Palomar knot for fluorocarbon. (Much better than an improved cinch knot)
@MarshManMasson4 жыл бұрын
The Palomar is recommended for fluorocarbon only if the angler makes sure the line doesn't cross on itself.

Man, that break off was painful. Flouro is pointless and a waste of money. Check out saltstrong's stuff on Flouro vs. Mono. Personally, thats exactly why I like nothing but Mono. No leader knots or extra points of failure. Got some on my rods 5 years old and still going strong.

Hey man, I have an interesting proposition for you, your KZbin Channel, and myself. I have a 17’ 2007 Xpress H51 with a 90hp Yamaha, lowerance elite 7 ti2, brand new I pilot terrova. I want to sell it bc I want to change things up a bit but I would rather see it go to someone who loves fishing but doesn’t have the means of cash or credit to have the opportunity to have a boat like this. Maybe we can workout a deal and you can raffle if off to your viewers on KZbin. I think it would be cool for your Channel.

I know you catch a lot of bass in Delacroix but in the past 3 years I’ve noticed the decline of striped bass. I haven’t caught one in Delacroix since 2019 July 4th. I notice you don’t catch them in your videos too. In about 2015 you can catch like 4-5 each trip. Now you can’t see them at all or only catch one a year.
@bowagner31444 жыл бұрын
I was fishing a bass tournament in Delacroix a couple weeks ago. Striped bass were schooled up thick in a couple different areas. First time I’ve seen them like that.
