DIY Stop Sticks

This is a tutorial on how you can construct a set of stop sticks. Please check your local laws before attempting. I've done an Internet search and can't find much about them. #stopsticks

AWESOME!!!!!! I'll be making that today, too many thieves and poachers coming on my land, just caught one yesterday morning leaving in a blk wrangler. I yelled at him and he pulled off, so I sent 00 buck in his direction at a tree to spook him and when he heard it the poor cuss musta shit himself hit the wrong pedal cause he went hard brakes then all I could hear was the whinnying of that straight 6 as he was gassing it to get gone hahahaha I just wanted to talk hahaha

I want him to try and tear out of there so I get all 4 tires. Should keepem occupied long enough to get the red dot on them till the cops come. Your a beautiful evil genius my friend great idea!

@@MarshRat My hand held hydraulic flare maker (not that you need a hydraulic one to get the job done) doesn't seem to have to hard a time bending it to make double flares. Pretty easy to to bend it by hand to route it doing projects too. Perhaps a test would be in order as some others suggested? Seems like a lot of work to not know whether it is going to stand up or not for the job intended.

@@dahartman88 Ask you insurance company if trespassers damaged by "boobytraps" will be covered by your liability insurance if they sue you for damages. I guarantee the answer is no. If you win in court you will still be paying an attorney out of pocket while the trespasser will be able to find a dozen wrongful injury lawyers to take the case. I know a landowner who nearly lost everthing after posting "no trespassing" signs to stop kids on 4 wheelers, then ran a wire between two trees at chest height to stop them. The court was not kind to him and very sympathetic to badly scarred teenage girl. When jury saw pics of the terribly slash injury across her breasts, with over a hundred stitches.... 6 figure award. He also was pariah in neighborhood.

Gates and locked gates do not stop bullying neighbors who insist on trespassing. To secure a lawyer is five grand deposit and potentially a five to nine year wait before it goes to court. Some folk may prefer to discourage those who are bullying.
