Only youngest four are Ellaria's daughters and they all are bastards. Obara, Nymeria, Tyene and Sarella has different mothers and they are all also bastards. In show they changed Tyene's appearance and made her Ellaria's and Oberyn's bastard daughter.

Now that I'm reading the books and watching videos like this, I am miffed that the show short-changed the Martells like it has. Their history and storylines are some of the most interesting. I hate that Arianne and Sarella were cut... especially with Sarella being a good "in" to the Citadel. I also really wanted a flashback to Elia Martell. I think she is one of the most mysterious figures from Robert's Rebellion. Even just seeing what she looked like would be interesting. Maybe she will appear in a flashback at some point.

She did have a brief appearance in a Daenerys chapter, at the House of the Undying, when Rhaegar was telling her that the dragon must have three heads. The show cut that out because they had a no-flashback rule then, but I wish they'd broken that rule just that once.

ocky88 I know, they totally messed up Dorne's plot line. Even in the intro, they just put "Dorne" instead of "Sunspear" or "The Water Gardens", then the disgraceful treatment of Areo Hotah and Doran himself...while the freakin' guards watch on? Like are you serious? Doran, who kept them all safe for years is worthless to them? He even mentions he has a plan for revenge to them all and Ellaria, but nah Ellaria's kiss of death and the murder of Trystane is such a better idea. In our history, if trade is great, life is easy, and everyone is living well, most people don't want war. Yeah sure, if your leader's brother and sister were killed you'd be pissed, but you wouldn't suddenly kill your leader who had nothing to do with it, especially if you're entire country is making tons of money from trade. If he decides (which he revealed he was going to) revenge is necessary, you listen to him, not some grief stricken paramour with no power! If she was his sister, ok maybe you might support her usurping in the name of revenge. But first off killing your leader for very little reason other than he's not revenging fast enough is dumb, you imprison him, and force Marcella and Trystane to stay in Dorne. You now have a monarchs daughter hostage, and 2 princes hostage. Then you assert your rule. Not by killing every bargaining chip you have off. Doran had been a great leader for years, and everyone's just like "lol wheelchair boi get rekt buh bye our rightful heir, Jaime Lannister, and the monarchs daughter." The sand snakes had no plan either, aka their plan was Doran's plan just rushed and with no marriage in mind. Trystane could have been a perfect in to Kings Landing, and Sallera would have been a great POV into the Citadel considering (from what I remember) she seems to have knowledge of the glass candle and dragons. Her and Sam, with Marwyn the Mage could have been figuring out stuff about the Others and Dragons, but nah we need a useless scene with Sam curing Jorah, not mentioning a thing about the Others, or Jaeor, or Jon Snow. And he didn't get any infection after putting his finger to his lips lol. It's a shame, I enjoy the show but there are so many flaws...of course the books have plenty of flaws, but since there is so much interesting stuff jam packed in each book you tend to forget them... *sigh* but what can you do...

Not much to say about House Swann other than they have a Kingsguard called Balon Swann who goes to Dorne to apparently show Gregor Clegane's skull to Doran and to take Myrcella home. He is a knight of great respect and quite honorable (unlike Meryn Trant, Boros Blount and Jaime Lannister) so Doran sends him and Obara to find Gerold Dayne, the Darkstar who wounded Myrcella and killed Ser Aerys Oakheart of the KG. House Corbray is an Andal house who are known for being one of the earliest established knightly houses in Westeros and have the Valyrian steel blade Lady Forlorn. Prince Lewyn Martell died by this blade (although it was really a cheap shot)and Daemon Blackfyre duelled Gwyn Corbray at Redgrass field, killing the knight after an epic fight. The current holder is Lynn Corbray, who is actually the younger brother of Lord Corbray, a fact that annoys his brother. He is a supporter of Petyr Baelish in his power schemes in the Vale , although on the surface he acts the opposite.

Years, after The Dance of the Dragons, Aliandra Martell, Princess of Dorne was married to Lord Drazenko Rogare, (a member of an old, powerful and extremely wealthy Valyrian family who possessed the Purple eyes and Silver hair of old Valyria), uncle of Lady Larra Rogare, wife of King Viserys II Targaryen and mother of King Aegon IV Targaryen who own daughter, Princess Daenaerys Targaryen would end up marrying the Prince of Dorne and brought Dorne into The Seven Kingdoms.

In the books, there is a character that says he is Aegon because I think Varys switched him with some random child shortly before the killings. But so far it has not been revealed if he truely is Aegon Targaryen or if he is just another pretender. If the show and the books should end the same way, we can so far guess that he is not a big player or else they would have had introduced him at some point already.

If they weren’t able to add Princess Arianne or Quentyn in the show, why couldn’t they just at least stick with the Sand Snakes trying to crown Myrcella as Queen? It would’ve been way more interesting with Ellaria in Arianne’s place and having all of the snakes on planning for Queen Myrcella Baratheon to rule. There could’ve even been more on her betrothed, Prince Trystane and their love story. The Dorne arc in the show is awful to me.
