It bothers me that Kenya has such great leaders BUT most of us turn a blind eye on them due to our ethnic and selfish interests. Personally, i believe that Martha and a few other leaders can do a great job and as a Kenyan, I vow to do the right thing even if they wont make it. I will have played my part in choosing potential leaders. Go Martha Go...

A vote for Martha Karua in not a waste of a vote. Its a vote for the katiba, its a vote for principles and values. Its letting it known that at times you can lose and win. Martha is a voice of reason.

I believe though that the future of the likes of Martha Karua is coming because our country is becoming more maturer and issue based politics will become the order of the day.

Even in the US you cannot ride your own popularity or skill. You need a party that votes as a block with few swing states where the battle lines are drawn. Karua, without Central votes solidly behind you, you are done. That's politics. It's about numbers.

true, politics in Kenya is years away from being issue based. I am sorry Karua, Ole Kiyapi, Kenneth and Mudavadi are wasting their time and resources. Raila and Uhuru have their bases under lock n key. TNA will sweep certain parts n so will ODM.

Martha unfortunately Kenyan politics is still very tribal based and you will need to convince some tribal base before really imagining you are a strong contender. For now. Truth be said, a vote for you is a wasted vote. I see most people voting TNA from central Kenya.central
