Martha Stewart Loom Yarn talk: What Yarn do I use? We'll look what a medium weight (4) looks like with 1 strand, 2 strands, & 3 strands of yarn in single and double knit in a working sample and suggestions on what might work best for your project. I used a medium weight Vanna's Choice from Lion Brand since medium weight and worsted are more common in most areas. I hope this helps you when choosing yarn. P.S. The white knit fabric in the background is a sweater in all stockinette. It is a standard knit stitch. It was machine knit but could be done on the loom with a smaller gauge in worsted weight on the MS loom. use all small pegs in all holes.Use the true knit stitch (also called reverse purl) or a U-knit. If you use the e-wrap it will not have a traditional V-shape but a twisted and bumpy Y-shape.

How does the guage of the small pegs, single knit compare to the Knifty Knitters and the All in One Board? I haven't used it, but it seems like the KB all in one board is about the tightest knit I've seen.
