I did Martha's original recipe in 3 butcher's trays with the higher sides lined with parchment and made cheesecake squares. 1 tray had a raspberry topping, one had a blueberry topping and the third was peach.

“Martha” I made your Cheesecake A year ago, it was a Masterpiece, Not only did it look like I paid top $ for it, the flavor was incredible, the texture was smooth & creamy, totally decadent. I misplaced your recipe, my family wanted more & I just couldn’t find Martha Stewards famous New York Cheesecake. My family is smart, I did try to substitute a different recipe but it just wasn’t Martha Stewarts Masterpiece New York cheesecake. My family begged me to make your cheesecake for our Thanksgiving Dessert, my heart dropped because I couldn’t find your recipe. Then last night while scrolling on KZbin I saw your channel.. Martha Stewart has been such a part of well-appointed homes and kitchens for decades, that it seems out of character for her to do something that would cause her to be arrested and jailed. However, in December 2001 she became involved in an "insider trading" scandal that led to Martha Stewart being sentenced to five months in prison. Interestingly, she was not jailed for the insider trading itself. So why did Martha Stewart go to jail?  Advertisement Insider Trading Scandal Insider trading is where an individual buys or sells stocks they have in a company using information that is not available to the public. Insider trading is illegal and a serious offense resulting in fines or jail time. Martha Stewart and ImClone Stock Toward the end of 2001, things began to look bad for a biopharmaceutical company called ImClone, which manufactures drugs in the United States, mostly for cancer patients. At the time ImClone was testing an experimental drug called Erbitux, which was to be used in infusions for patients with certain types of cancer. The drug was submitted to the Food and Drug Administration for approval, which it failed to get. When this happens to a medical company, often the company’s stocks take a dive because the market's expectations for the drug to make money have been dashed. One of the founders of the company, Dr. Samuel Waksal, was arrested for advising friends and family members to sell the stock before the FDA made the announcement and the stock dropped in price. During the investigations of ImClone, it was discovered that Martha Stewart had sold 4,000 shares of the ImClone stock she owned the day before the FDA decision was announced - avoiding a loss of around $45,000 in the process. The suspicious timing and the fact that she received the information about the stock through her stockbroker, Peter Bacanovic, led to an investigation of Stewart's dealings with ImClone.

@@MarthaStewart What Martha has always done is just fine with me. She has a no nonsense approach to her presentations but she's still able to come across as having fun. I also like to know which brand name appliances she is using and how well she thinks they perform. It would be nice to see more of Martha's famous farm and how it and her gardens contribute to her cooking and baking. I know that Martha's farm doesn't produce all the food she needs so how does she prepare her weekly and monthly grocery shopping list; not on the scale of her TV show of course, but more like if she was living the life of a middle income family of four. You know, mother and father and to two adult kids who have moved back home out of necessity. It would also be nice to see more of Martha's life away from the kitchen, we all know she's an artist at everything she does so it's not just Martha's cooking that interests people. Tips on managing the running of a household creatively would also be appreciated and interesting. Thanks for your question.

I can't wait to try the Ricotta recipe. My grandmother made this same cheese cake only she used cottage cheese! It was my favorite dessert when I was a little girl and the texture was great.
