Hi i did my cheesecake but i think that the water was not enough in the pan i did the 15 min then the 75 min cooled n the water bath 45 min then fridge but the inside still look a bit soft what was the prob. I said probably not enough water bath

I made this cheese cake for our Thanksgiving dinner this year. It was a huge hit!! It turned out perfect! The only thing I did differently was had 2 tlb. Of sugar to the crust, for a little sweeter crust and used 16 graham crackers instead of 12, so it would be a little thicker crust. I truly appreciate you sharing your recipe, and the information of how to make this cake. It was pure perfection!! I used your recipe for the blueberry sauce for the topping! Yum

I made this recipe a few months ago and it was delicious!! I used McVities digestive biscuits for the base. My boyfriend made the cherry sauce for it but we used frozen cherries as the fresh ones were super expensive. We bought the frozen cherries from Woolworths, for any other Australian viewers who are interested in knowing where to get them:) I bought a slice of baked cheesecake from the Cheesecake Shop a month ago and it was nowhere near as good as Natashas recipe!

I came to see if this happened to anyone else. My foil wasn't wide enough either and my crust was ruined. It completely stuck to the pan due to being wet. However; it didn't effect the actual cheesecake itself which was perfect and still delicious. I guess I'll have to make another 🤷🏻‍♀️😅☺️

I’m a cheesecake maker, all flavors & varieties. But hubby just loves it plain so all I did was type in “Perfect Cheesecake”, followed the directions to a “C” and it did not disappoint! This was the prettiest, creamiest, dreamiest cheesecake I’ve ever made!!! One tip tho, I had to bake it in the oven an additional 45 minutes, the center would not have set if not!! But 😋!!!!

I just made my first all scratch cheesecake about 2 weeks ago, springform pan and all. I didn't use a water bath method, or any other special baking techniques, I have little to no experience baking, but I've cooked for nearly 50 years. and it came out perfectly. I would think it's a fluke, but I made two more plus one with a standard aluminum pie pan and they all came out perfect. I must have a good baking oven. I'd always heard how difficult they were to make, however I found them quite easy. I'll be making them now for family and friends for the rest of my life.

Good tutorial! The first time I tried this recipe, I followed it exactly and most of the components came out great - smooth, fluffy consistency, no cracks, good height, good flavor. There were two things I wasn’t satisfied with, first that the filling top turned out darker than pictured; and second, it didn’t taste as tangy as the NY cheesecake I’ve actually had in New York. I’m going to make another one today. I’m going to use a different brand of cream cheese and add a spoon of lemon juice. I have also bought a silicone water bath moat, which is safer and easier to use than wrapping aluminum foil.

Cheesecake and cherry is probably my FAVORITE food pairing. I feel like it’s so underrated. I personally prefer tart cherries, similar to a cherry pie filling. There’s this place called Jason’s Deli that served the most delicious cherry cheesecakes when I was growing up. I always seek out this pairing and have made it at home whenever possible. Nothing has intimidated more that homemade cheesecake. But my daughter loves the stuff so this Thanksgiving I used this recipe. When my daughter first tried it she thought it could use a little more Sour Cream, but on the second bite she recanted and declared it was the best she ever had. I'm sure she is a little biased. I did encounter some issues. Natasha must have a much bigger spring pan than mine as I had a lot of batter left over after I filled my pan. Also I was concerned that perhaps my cake was too thick and would not cook through, but it did and the interior was wonderful. Initially I thought water had penetrated my foil in the bath, but I now believe it was only condensation during cooking as there appeared to be no ill effects on the cake. And the crust was awesome, I don't even like Graham cracker curst on pies, etc, but this crust was great. Thanks Natasha.

Never made cheesecake before. Made this one Thursday and had it at the family Friday night card game. Everyone loved it, even a picky sister who doesn't care for cheesecake. Will definitely make this one again.

That's what happened to mine too.. it got like a golden color on the top. It smells amazing and looks delicious, but I'm gonna have to wait til tomorrow to try it. Did yours still taste creamy and soft on the top?

I made this cake and it is out of this world delicious no one believed I made it I had to play with the temp and time witch took longer to cook first one was not cook through nut I made about 10 of them for the holidays thank you for the recipe 😊

My mom's birthday is tomorrow and she's not a big fan of traditional layered cakes covered in frosting, so I made this cheesecake for her tonight. I am sooo excited for us to try it tomorrow,it looks amazing and BIG! I am a little nervous though because the top got alittle bit darker than yours did, like golden color. So hopefully it'll still be fluffy and creamy and not dried tasting. Thank you for sharing this!😇❤
