Oh Martha.... I use to watch her when she had her 1st show- Martha Stewart Living. I bought all her books & magazines from the stores. Each day I would be in front of the tv with a notebook ready, Lol. Food Network & HGTV can thank her personally, she single handedly created these movements in both food & home design. This is a fact. I have a huge photo album of nothing but her recipes that I wrote down from her show & fed my family with all of these- as my children grew up. I didn't know how to cook anything- this was before the internet. She became my personal teacher- I fell in love with cooking because of her. You can trust Martha, she has very high taste. Love You Martha, Thank you for always having such high standards & teaching us to, too!! You made a big difference in my life. ❤

I could binge watch beautiful MS ALL DAY AND NIGHT…. I always save her shows and then cook her meals. I don’t think I enjoy anyone as much as I enjoy watching Martha. Everything she makes and all that she teaches us, is simple and looks fabulous. Her food is what I can get at my local grocery store. But that’s because I live in the middle of Southern California where there’s sprouts and barons and stater brothers and Vons and Albertsons. There’s even an Asian market up the street that is so large they seem to have everything! I feel very spoiled. Anyways I know there are many of you that don’t have the luxury of having stores all around you. But you guys can always order stuff to be delivered. I want to say a short prayer Lord God for all those who are having a very difficult time during this Covid pandemic, father I ask that you would provide for them, that you would show them that you’re always near. Fill the food banks Lord God. Open doors for people who don’t have enough food for their families father, to get a job, Father please help the gas prices to come down so that people can afford to eat a decent meal . There are so many people who are suffering. Lord God I pray that you would have your hand upon them provide God, like only you can. Thank you Lord! You are such a blessing Martha I love you♥️♥️♥️😁😁😁

I just started watching Martha's videos on KZbin about 2 weeks ago and have found that I cut everything exactly as she does for each specific type of dish. I've been cooking for just a few years and only saw my mother cook a few times as a teenager since either she was gone working or I was gone to work. So cool to see my favorite cook preparing meals exactly as I do myself! Made a new discovery a year ago and found that I was not 100% Hungarian German as I believed I was. According to my DNA results, it reflects markers of up to 23% polish lineage. It's no wonder Martha's mom, Martha and I savor the same Foods!

I have never heard of corn stock. That’s good to know. Here in north Iowa we love the bi-colored sugar and cream corn. I cut it off the cob, scrape the cob to get the corn juices and cook it in melted butter. Bring it to a gentle boil, cover and boil gently for 3 minutes. Scrape into a bowl and stir till cool, mean while, your starting another batch in the same skillet. Then I put that cooled bowl of corn into a freezer bag, gently get the air out of the bag while it’s lying flat on the counter. Mark what it is and the date. After it cools to the touch, I put it in the freezer laying flat. I can get a lot of bags of corn in my freezer that way. Oh, I usually freeze what we would eat at a meal if it was on the cob. Take out in the winter and slide the bag open a little to defrost a little. Put into a skillet and gently warm until completely thawed. I add just a tiny bit of sugar and let it simmer until it’s gently bubbling. You may need to add a little more butter, but probably not. Salt and pepper to taste. It taste like you just cut it off the cob and cooked it fresh. Not soft. I know all that butter probably isn’t good for you, but it’s only good if you use real butter, not margarine, that’s too watery. I’m going to try a lot of your corn recipes. Sharing with my sister too. She loves corn. Thanks Martha for this lesson.

I believe you are an amazing chef and gastronome. You understand all kinds of herbs and knowing the best nutrition from natural foods. Thanks for sharing the easy cooking recipes and most tasty mushrooms. Also, thank you for the Chinese chives plant from you today. I live in Dallas, and my friend shared some chives with me today. They told me that you gave us 20 years ago and brought to Dallas. It shared and spread with so many friends and families, because we failed to grow any. It's so hard to grow chives from American seeds, more harder is grow in Dallas. I am so surprised that you know how awesome of this herb is, because it is super healthy and flavorful food but mostly on the table of Asian families. They also told me that you know herbs so well, and have a food channel on KZbin. I guessed you must know mushroom so well right away. I immediately opened your KZbin channel, here we go, first video is you cook and talk about mushrooms. MARVELLOUS and so excited. By the way, when I first met you was in Broken Sisters show, and learned to respect and eat mushroom from a documentary movie called Magic of Mushrooms. I love mushrooms, especially, you are using dried mushrooms too, that's from hundreds of years history of China. it is essential, magic and delicious.

I made the cream of mushroom soup today and it was fabulous! The complexity and layers that different mushrooms add -- incredible. I never realized egg yolk would be such a fantastic enriching agent. The soup was rich but at the same time it was so light and went down smoothly! I can't wait to try more of these recipes. Also, not in this episode, but I have started poaching my own chicken every week according to Martha's recipe and I save the stock in the freezer. I have never had more flavorful stock or more moist and delicious chicken. Just. Phenomenal. Thank you for this channel!

You haven't experienced corn the way Nature intended we eat it in its most natural DELICIOUS alive state until you've had it raw! Instead of using cooked corn in salad recipes calling for corn, use raw corn cut right off the cobb mixed into the salad. Corn salad with Apple Cider Vinegar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and fresh basil and some salt with red onions made with fresh raw corn is mind blowing! Martha needs to try it one day. She could introduce the world to a whole new world of food preparation working with raw fruit and raw vegetables that are so much more healthful than cooked as well as tastier in many cases.

When it comes to crepes mix, I never do it with a blender or mixer. As Marta did. Because with strong blending the dough will make a bobble of air in it. And later, after frying, holes will be visible. .I often do crepes with cheese or jam and fry them slightly in a pan. If crepes have holes, then jam or cheese during frying flows out of them. . I personally mix the dough hand and strain through a strainer.
