Martha - Linda and I are in our 70's and we go way back with you, Dear Lady. I firmly believe you were framed by nefarious scoundrels, but you have overcome that and returned to us with your sage kitchen skills and we both love you!

My Sicilian grandma breaded them and made a broth, she wasted nothing. It was so good. We ate the stem, too.
Dear Martha, I watch your shows religiously. This is probably the show I loved the best. Packed with information I never knew. How said we're to old to learn new things. Thank you for sharing. We love you 💐🙏

I don't even cook, I just draw inspiration from people who are at the top of their craft. Martha is the quintessential WASP who isn't super flashy, but you can tell just by how her kitchen is stocked with equipment and ingredients that she puts in the work to make the experience more than just a lady on camera cooking in her kitchen. This woman had a MARROW SPOON in her kitchen, like what? Mind blown, it's the little things.

Martha Stewart is not a WASP.
@GbawlZ2 жыл бұрын
@@BH-zx4dm Okay mrs. literal, she's Polish and Catholic. She has certainly adopted the lifestyle and owns houses in all the right places, lmao. Generational wealth is a pointless concept in 2022 when there are teenagers streaming video games making more than your inheritance is worth in a few years. Nobody even values manners or etiquette in the modern day, the loudest and most obnoxious people are ascending to the upper echelons of society thanks to social media. There is no point in gatekeeping what it means to be a WASP, especially since you likely hold political views that are diametrically opposed to your perceived social status. There is not a single WASPY old-money enclave in America that would exclude Martha Stewart from joining their beach club or social event, get real.

@@BH-zx4dm She isn't but she arguably comes off as one, completely in every way.

Nice-- over an hour with my favorite domestic diva. I'm not a huge veggie aficionado but I do enjoy certain things like sauteed onions; or mushrooms and red peppers bits on my pizza. My partner makes roasted broccoli with olive oil, salt, pepper and grated parm, and it is yummy.

Same here. Reminds me: her first cable show (Martha Stewart Living) back in the 90s was fun because sometimes she'd take the viewer along to a shop or unusual destination. One time she went to a really old hardware store and it was charming.

@jeraldbaxter35322 жыл бұрын
One thing to be aware of, when growing okra: the plant, (stalks, leaves and pods) are covered in fine "hairs" which have a natural defense chemical which, when handled with bare hands, causes extremely uncomfortable and persistent itching (not fatal but not fun, either). After harvesting, blanch the pods to make for comfortable handling. So, when you buy okra seeds, also but a good pair of gloves and wear long sleeves when near the plant. To be able to have fresh, from your own garden okra, this is well worth the effort.

THANKS MS MARTHA STEWART TEACHING VEGETABLES COOKING. I CAN TELL THE EGG PLANT YOU LIKE TO COOK IS FROM CHINESE BUT NOT JAPANESE ORIGINALLY. I TELL BECAUSE I ATE EGGPLANT EVERY WEEKS WHEN I WAS LIVED IN HONG KONG. :) IT IS NOT JAPANESE EGGPLANT. WE CAN CALL IT ASIAN EGGPLANT.
It would be nice to have the information of the ingredients of some of the items like the name of the cheese you put on that street corn how you spell it
Martha I’d love for you to move in with me & to use my moms expression whip me into shape. I need lots of organizing & kitchen help
