@@alexdaniel7707: I'm familiar with the term 'Quo Vadis' and its meaning. I'm not a priest or been anywhere near a seminary. These are priests of the Thiruvalla-headquartered Mar Thoma Church, and Latin has no place in their seminaries. And as for priests in North India who can't speak Hindi, it's not a deal breaker. They minister to and are vicars of churches where at least 90% of the parishioners are comfortable with Malayalam. A priest of the Mar Thoma Church normally only has a 3 year stint in a church. And, he does pick up Hindi when serving as an asst. vicar in parishes in North India. FYI, In 2000, the Mar Thoma Church started a Theological Seminary at Faridabad, Haryana. Those who study here would be better equipped for ministry in North India. (The Malankara Orthodox Church has a Theological Seminary in Nagpur.)
