Alex Alonso ask knight owl if he knows what was the reason his homeboy wolf got killed cause he was a part of that hit squad also. The reason I got is cause the rifle wolf was shooting was one of the bullets that accidentally hit popeye and killed him so the AFO was mad about that and that's why wolf got killed. His homeboy wolf was a part of that hit squad that was trying to kill the zeta news writer blancornelas.

That was a rookie amatuer accident that should have never occurred. These guys were trained to prevent such accidents. Of course the top brass of the cartel was beyond pissed off. Popeye was considered their top enforcer for the armed wing of the cartel. It was war time and they had lost a valuable asset that day.
