Killer sound on that guitar, surprising how well it does flat picking for a mahogany!

Right? For some time i didbt even like mahagony for sides and back..now i want full mahagony..it has nice warmth and nice resonance..

Thanks Nick, Ed and Josh (agree, the camera work and lighting are excellent, as is the sound). Some people on YT find the distressed look a bit over the top, but I haven't seen s Streetmaster in person so I haven't made up my mind. Certainly looks good in here, I much prefer a satin look any way, far too few guitars with that offered imo. Cheers guys.

I’m shocked. I prefer this over the D-18

You may prefer a satin finish guitar, the D-18 and D-28 are not available in satin. Satin finished guitars sound more "open" from new, the trade off is the guitar breaks in differently over time.

@@studio1vintageguitars I do think that’s playing a role, but I also think it’s the straight braces. I prefer the sound of the D-28 over the HD-28

absolutely perfect for a beginner and beyond. If you have sore shoulders or back/ neck issues it might be worth considering the 00 or 000 streetmasters.
