And hopefully Pat Morita wasn't an asshole in real life, may he rest in peace though. Also hopefully Ralph Macchio isn't a asshole in real life. Because sometimes in most cases the good guys in movies are assholes in real life. Not saying Pat was or Ralph is one. Just simply stating that hopefully it wasn't the case for Pat and it isn't the case for Ralph.

I met Martin Kove at a comic con once. I had just got an autograph from William Zabka, that famous photo from the tournament. I only had enough cash left for a selfie with Martin Kove. He saw I was holding the photo and he asked if I wanted him to sign it as well. I leaned and whispered I'm sorry I don't have anymore money with me. He signed anyway. We chatted for a few minutes and got our selfie. Super nice guy.

This guy to me is such a real hero. I was 12 when Karate Kid came out in 84 and could so much relate to the realism of how life was as someone that got picked on and bullied through school. The movie inspired me, and actually some other kids in my class to take karate at that time. I took more karate classes later in 2014 and earned 2 belts for 2 different styles. Now enjoying so much the series of Cobra Kai, i just totally love Martin Kove along with all the original and new cast members. As a 51 year old now, it would be a dream to walk into the Cobra Kai dojo and sign up being taught by Krees and Johnny as my Sensei. Love you Martin, and thank you so much for what you've done for my generation. Maybe someday I can meet you and shake your hand.

It would be neat to see Kreese & Robbie team up & find redemption. Kreese was a Vietnam veteran. He did the dirty work. He was trained by his country & fought for it only to be rejected & shunned & ridiculed for it. He faces a generation of hippies who go on to become successful businessmen that look down on him & others as ‘baby killers’ while they went about their life’s becoming prosperous. Now comes Robbie, always rejected. Próspero Daniel comes along to train him to do his dirty work , to start a gang war with Cobra Kai ,who were innocently training initially. Cobra Kai goes on to become an aggressive force due to Daniels provocation. Daniel trained Robbie & rejects him when it goes wrong. Robbie & Kreese are both wounded . Trained taught & then rejected. Daniel goes on being the successful car dealer, but he started the war. It would be neat to see Kreese & Tobbie finally point out to Daniel that if both of them are “Evil”. That ultimately it was because they were taught to be so by people like Daniel. People who need someone to do their dirty work. That those “successful “ types are the ones who instigate war to get what they want without thinking of the consequences. Yea that would be a real kicker out of left field that would leave everyone re-examining themselves.

One of the villains you love to hate and hate to love. True. The character is so well done that he doesn't even need to say anything, he just stands there and I already get the chills. Love the movies and the series and the actors and the writers and really everyone who's helped to make these as magical as they are.
