I wish somebody would have told me not to have dubbed & redubbed many of my vhs tapes in case I would be sharing them with a zillion people...:) I Don't Want to be God, Bernie Don't Disco & Hors D'Oeuvre

Comedy doesn't get much better than Martin Mull. This was wonderful! I saved it to my comedy favorites.

I can't believe that I have come to Mr Mull, so late, he isn't really a "name" here in the UK, we know him from various shows, but I have to say his routines and songs are incredible, a very witty, very clever writer and performer, my interest peaked having seen his piece in "The Aristocrats", since then every thing I have seen him doing on this little planet called KZbin, has been a joy, very talented gentleman.

I have not seen this since it first aired on HBO, yet I still remember his Mr. Dammit joke! I bought his albums and think he is a fantastic stand-up.

Bernie Don't Disco has been with me in my brain since swedish radio legend Kjell Alinge played it in his Café Midnatt show in the '70s. Martin Mull crammed in much of the '70s disco in that tune!

After 40 years or so I was certain the backup singers on the sofa was Loraine Newman, and Gilda Radner. Some of the original Not Ready for Primetime Players. Funny how you don't remember things quite the way they happened.
