Don’t laugh or look 👀 down on him unless ur going to help him up. Remember people u can be in his shoes 👟. Jesus is watching u. N ur heart ♥️ if u treat him n say nasty things about him u have done it to Jesus also he said that. Praying 🙏🏽 for the cold 🥶 hearted n all.

My dad was on crack for 30 years! He finally got clean at age 64. Soon after he got clean he went into heart failure. He died at age 71 from Covid attacking his heart. My dad had plenty relapses but when he got clean for good he really turned his life around. People have to realize that they have to do this on their own. All we can do is pray for him and trust God.

Yes, he does! Although I’m rooting for him and feel bad for him. He’s definitely saying what he thinks everyone want to hear. He’s quick to point the finger at everyone else and not take accountability. He’s been manipulative since day when he gave a different name. And from there the list goes on. But this is all common behavior for a addict. All we can do is hope for the best

"You can't understand addiction if you haven't been through it" the realist words I ever heard him say. No amount of books or hours spent studying or articles read or even years of watching loved ones going through it and dying right infront of you gives you the understanding of addiction, like living addiction and going through it!!! Besides if he gets clean and stays clean and still fails, then what and whom can he blame but himself!? This way he has the Mrs to blame, the addiction, the homelessness, the health issues, past issues, family, and not to mention everything and everything imaginable that is perceived to be missing. When what is truly missing is CLEAN TIME, FORGIVENESS, LOVE, RESPECT, TRUST AND PERSONAL CARE!

The large majority of people can't give up a bag of chips or a sweet. While grocery shopping can't walk past foods that are not good for them yet many don't have compassion or understanding that someone as addicted to blues as Martian can just get it together or stop. I have great empathy for Martain and I hope he chooses him one day, fight hard to live, and one day can look back to say I made it to the other side. His story will change lives no matter how it goes. Many people will never touch a drug after seeing how it has ruined Martian's life. No matter what happens he can say that he changed lives by being brave enough to allow the world to see him at him worst. Many addicts hide in the shadows and are very secretive while using. Martin deserves respect for allowing the world to see this journey. Keep praying for Martin and his recovery.

This man is so smart, but can't save himself because of his addiction. He is absolutely correct when he said addiction is not understood by anyone unless u are an addict and know the inability to resist the use of drugs, even in the face of help! I lost two brothers to drugs. It touches my heart to hear Martin cry about his son and to admit it's one of the reasons for his addiction. One of my brothers went through the same situation of having his son kept away from him. He wasn't even an addict at that time. This set him off into a tailspin of drug activity. I hope this guy can beat this, please keep trying to help him because it just may work.

Family members experience the addiction in a different manner. The fear and unknown of ppl coming around that would provoke the individual to get high. There is a point where the individual loves the drug more than those that love them. It’s so sad all the way around. The individual that sells them the drug should have a very long jail time !! And let’s not forget the producers of the drugs. God has them ! What one reaps they will sow .

😢 I don't get the sense that he's ready as he's been saying, "I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it" and does the same thing. I was wrapped in the same cycle. I've shared a bit of my story on one of Martin's videos, but getting my first car was what ultimately helped me make that decision. I'm an alcoholic who relied on public transit (the light rail 🚈 in the Phoenix area). Once I got that responsibility, I didn't want to turn my car into a weapon. (DUI was something i was terrified of). That was after months of telling mental health providers, "I'll quit tomorrow." I'm sharing this to say that something was to happen for an addict to declare, "I've had enough".

I hope you do get on methadone, I'm on it , I did it all by myself, I was a 50 yr old lady living on the streets , strung out , shooting heroin & smoking blues but I got on methadone, I still used a little w it at first then I changed the town , I went under a bridge in a new place and promised myself I would stay to myself, away from other homeless I stayed on methadone, now I'm sobor an got my own place , I'm happy. I started getting high at 10 , moved out when I was 12. So I understand how hard it is but if you really want it you can do it !! I got faith and I'm praying for you

I can't stop crying. The things that has been done to that lille baby boy and the what he have been through is just so horrible and so egoistical. If your clean and clear headed like he claims he was, you don't sleep in a tent for ten months with a toddler. That's just beyond every normal behaviour. Thank God that baby was finally left at the grandparents.

I think Martin does get it hes very smart. Imagine being drug free now you got to face the long list of medical problems those drugs has caused your body. A wife whose still using putting the pressure on him to return to drugs. The pain of going through multiple surgeries more pain. He rather self medicate himself with those drugs and stay right where he is very sad indeed.
