I was a Crystal Meth. Addict for 20 years.. I know what you’re going through Martin.. it was extremely hard to get off of it because my body craved it… I reached rock bottom.. I prayed and ask God to help me.. Now whenever I thought of smoking Meth I feel like vomiting just to think of it.. Please pray Martin, you can make it!!

If he detoxed slowly, ate right, worked his way up over time to where he had enough strength to exercise he would drastically improve, but all that is very very very challenging for a man who's health is as horrific as his. He likes very slightly better from eating more. A person can almost always improve from where they are. His time is running out though.

I dealt first hand with my brother who was addicted to drugs for over 8 years 2008-2016… Hess been drug free for 7 years now. I can tell you how it was. Patience, more patience, extra patience, overtime patience and so on. Basically it was a roller coaster. You can do it Martin! Anything it’s possible.

A loved one of mine, didn't go to the hospital type 1 diabetic,he developed a foot ulcer refused medical help,the ulcer quickly turned deadly his system got septic the infection took his life at age59 this past may2023.i won't wish no one to see what I saw,it didn't have to end like that.100%preventable.😢

I had a nephew same thing. Diabetic , wouldn’t take care of himself, he was a meth addict, injected that poison into himself, smoked it, did it every way possible Im sure. Lost a toe at first then lost the foot, then part of the leg, he was the most big hearted guy you’d ever meet. He died before he was 45. It’s just so messed up. I hate addiction, it’s so sad.

Staff leads to cellulitis and sepsis. Our island is heavy with homeless and drug use. Staff is RAMPANT in the streets. It's a deadly killer. If he waits any longer it's likely he will lose his feet. I was so close to losing my hand. My ex shot me up with meth against my will. Held me hostage in a room and domestic violence was involved. 3 days later i had a fever. 2 days after i was in kidney failure as I went into the emergency room.

He dosnt have patience to sit in hospital for 2 weeks but can sit around for years doing drugs while his children are suffering. I was a addict of heroin for over 20yrs iv user and my life was full of trauma. Lost so many friends and my husband. Ive also lost my whole family and im alone in this world because i didnt want to bring a child into this world while i was a addict. Im alone with health issues but its a million times better then life on the streets.

Chills, burning, vomiting, diarrhea, shakes, weight up and down .....and depending on what he's addicted to and how long withdrawal isn't just a one day overnight thing...... before judging you need to see what it can be like for some people.......your not a addict so it's easy to say all this but for people who are hooked its something different.....I had a family member OD and we tried for years to help

I’m curious if smoking pills causes the same lung issues as shooting pills. The binders cause something that looks like TB. Lovely!! So now the person who won’t have a full course of antibiotics will not fully heal. Hopefully he’s lying. Blood infection is called sepsis… he would know if he had sepsis. Partially treating an infection often makes it recur worse. The main takeaway for unaffiliated people is to not rely on rationalizing unhealthy behavior. It’s a slippery slope. Often, indigents can be cremated by the county and loved ones can collect the remains. Or, help humanity and donate your body to research. That helps humanity so do more good in death than in life ❤

It’s frustrating hearing all the reasons as to why he hasn’t handled any business., but I get it because that was me at one time. I am the biggest cheerleader for methadone! I’ve documented my journey through addiction, relapse, and also tapering off methadone. People get to the clinic to get dosed everyday just like you get to the person your getting the pills from.. wish him the best.

He’s never gonna change very sad too many excuses he wants someone to hold his hand through the process and when Art was w him in hospital he left so sad Martin your on your own
