Also, if you're a fan of Martin i recommend you check out an episode of 'Beasts' called BuddyBoy. He has the lead in it. 'Beasts' was a tv series made in 1976.

Lovely video, marvelous film- I love it. So many good acting moments...the moment where they *almost* kiss is especially brilliantly done, as is the scene after Denise dies where Don is blatantly in shock... Shame JS and MS didn't work together more.... They both have a real knack at emotional acting. Nice one!! x

Hi, I'm not completely certain I understand you because I use Google Translate to read your comments. But 1) this movie can be bought on ebay, see the link in the description. 2) I'm pretty certain that Martin Shaw would be happy to see all of his work released and hasn't prohibited anything. 3) Sadly, we all know that only films that could attract larger audience are released, there's nothing to be done, at least until DVD on demand becomes normal and widespread.

Does anyone know if this was a made-for-television movie? No US sites even carry a listing for it and evidently it's not available for purchase anywhere on the 'net. How discouraging! I would barter my first-born for either a DVD or VHS.

This seems a bit extreme... lol I believe it was made for television. As I wrote already, it appears as VHS on ebay once in a while, but you have to know that now it sells 5-6 times more expensive than before I made this vid.

Thanks! I always try to find songs capturing the essence; manipulation is not my cup of tea. As for the Irish accent - according to his words, Mr Shaw likes to change when inhabiting his characters... Was it the script, or his own decision, I don't know.
