Klugh was an inspiration to me in 1976 and he still is! A kid from inner city Detroit learned to play such sweet jazz and write such great guitar music!! Thank you God for Earl Klugh!!

I was very lucky to be in the front row seats of the Ulster Hall Belfast 2nd March 2013 to watch two of the greatest guitarist's to walk the face of this earth. Oddly enough, you could not meet anyone more pleasant or down to earth than Tommy Emmanuel & Martin Taylor, the word MAGIC comes to mined, although we all this comes from HARD WORK something both these men have never been shy of.

Stumbled upon Earl at a small club in Ann Arbor MIchigan in 1973. coming from a Rock Blues pentatonic approach. I was floored at his harmonic complexity and flawless technique. It was an unknown universe of which I had never ventured into. He would have been about 20 yrs old. I got a chance to personally thank him 45 yrs latwer when he performed at the Blue Note in Honolulu. Mahalo Earl!

+Merveil Meok I would say practice and how much time you want to put in. But most important, the ear. Practice the ear. Going over the changes, learn at least the basic scales majors, minors, 6th, 7th, 5th, 9th.

+knucklesprayer I left the company but stayed friends with Earl to this day, but in the 80's/90's he took a liking to high-end serious Classics, Ruck, Rubio, Hauser, name it. Had a little 'Salon' in town here for buy, sell trade...So, could be any one of those, but bet it's a costly one haha...FS
