"Money in the bank." Such a heartwarmingly wholesome way of saying "She's easy"

We need more movies like this. As if I didn't already have reasons to root for Marty in this movie, this scene only gave me one more big one. This showed just how much class Marty really has.

_"Oh, this guy is a nice guy, this guy."_ Yet, they don't realize just how nice Marty really is. He's not about to blow off the woman he met for a quick score. In a way, they were right; Marty is truly a very nice guy.

@@man.i.literally.failed6772 I personally have many problems with their philosophy. For one, I would never want to belong to a group that identifies itself by a status that I do not want for myself = being single. Second, I hate the idea of painting a group of people with the same broad brush as the bad actors within that said group = women, especially when the bad actors are actually small in number, but just with big mouths. Decent people tend not to draw a lot of attention to themselves, because they are too busy just trying to live their own lives than create drama inflicting their own misery onto others. MGTOW is basically the male version of the old “man, fish, bicycle” chant of the 70s. I’m not down with it. I would just sooner avoid the crazy women, and find the decent ones, and eventually the one that I will form a strong loving relationship with and marry. And that is never going to happen hanging around a bunch of toxic self-pitying nihilists who allowed themselves to become exactly the very thing they are complaining about, and claiming to have been victimized by. It is doing unto others as was done unto them. Not great marriage, or even relationship material for that matter, as far as I am concerned. I wouldn’t want a woman that acted like that, so I can’t expect a woman to take that attitude form me, nor would I want to be with a woman that would put up with that attitude from a man.

“Get rid of her, this is money in the bank” If one of my friends told me to do that, I’m walking away, nothing else needs to be said, I’m just walking away That men would even consider doing this to women, and that women even consider doing this to men, just for a hook up? A one night stand? Really? A potential future with someone who may genuinely love you and you’d blow it off for a one night stand? Good that Marty didn’t do that! A good man

Locations: Marty and Clara are walking in front of Babbins Hardware at 3530 White Plains Road in the Bronx. Building is still there but it has been substantially remodeled. They then look across the street at Ralph's car which is parked in front of the Gun Hill Road station on the 2 and 5 lines.
