Lol the fact they filmed this movie using all the old backlot areas and Universal payed for it was icing on the cake...most people have no clue how much some of these spots are used in the old shows and movies of the 70s-90s and many from before that back to the early days of the studio

The first time I saw this movie I noticed quite a few stuff. At the moment I only remember two. One of them was a few people wearing colorful gorilla costumes in the background which were from one of the live action Batman movies. Another was a raptor from the Jurassic Park movies.

Iirc(from the tours) it was also used in one or more of the Dusk til Dawn movies. Almost all of the “city streets” are part of the backlot and also part of the tour

I remembered growing up watching this film when I was a kid, and I didn’t realize that time it was based on the Boy who cried Wolf, Jason SHEPHERD, and Marty WOLF. I was glad that Marty got what he deserved in the end for just not plagiarizing, but abusing his employees. This whole scene was everyone’s revenge and payback on Marty, but hey, because the writer was so respectful, Jason gave her the rights to make it into a film.
