Thanks for another great interview, Joe. Marty is a national treasure, to be sure. Not only is he a fantastic multi-talented musician and singer, but his photographic skills are also pretty incredible. He's being very modest here. His photographic "eye" is second to none! Last, you will not hear a better live act than Marty and the Superlatives. They are definitely at the top of their games. I especially especially enjoy Cousin Kenney's picking, and how he and Marty compliment each other's playing. I love and respect your work, so keep on doing what you do so well, Joe!

I went and saw Marty and The Superlatives at an old Theatre in Lexington N.C. what a fantastic time and show. The promoters sold VIP tickets, at the end of the show Marty announced that we all were VIP's and that he and the band would stay until everyone that wanted to shake their hand or get an autograph was satisfied. True to his word that's exactly what happened. I gained a whole new level of respect for Marty and the Superlatives. This was pre covid-19 and Paul was still with them. i'll always remember that night and the show.

Great interview Joe. Marty is my favorite living Country artist. I 've seen him about 13 times. Had a ticket for last year but the show got cancelled. Ticket is still good but re-scheduled for Oct. this year. Hope it happens. Marty has an impressive list of achievements but my favorite thing he ever did was the Marty Stuart Show that appeared on RFD-TV. He had the coolest guest on the show. Everybody from KItty Wells to Pokey Lafarge. I think Kitty actually made her last live performance on the show. I think the show ran for 6 seasons. A lot of the episodes are on you tube . They are only 30 minutes long but they are over way to quick.

So enjoyed the interview with Marty. Most people who are musically inclined seems like are also talented in other areas too. I think their brain works at a higher frequency. My dad could play anything he touched. Teaching himself the violin at age 35, which is rare in itself. He bought a player piano and restrung it and refinished it and knew 10 songs within 10 weeks. Marty is talented in this same way. I feel in touch with my dad when I watch because we discussed musicians and song lyrics all the time. Calling one another with facts or notes before we forgot. Thanks so much Joe. What you are doing is so awesome, pulls on my heart strings.

If you look for Country Music in the dictionary, you should see a photo of Marty Stuart. Marty keeps the music of the past alive and continues to forge a path towards the future. Others may have said it but I know that Dale Watson said it, and it's true, "you can't grow if you rip your roots out of the ground". Marty continues to grow and he does it from (and without forgetting) his roots. Thank you Marty and, thank you Joe. I look forward to more.

Amazingly good interview with Marty. "doesn't matter if it's the outhouse or the white house, we'll treat everybody the same". Very much enjoyed....thanks!

Those Marty Stuart RFD TV shows are on You Tube. If you haven't, search them out. Well worth your time. I saw them live locally. What a band!

For the past 5 years when Marty Stuart and the Superlatives get out west I have had the privilege to photograph their shows.. I have seen and photographed a lot of musicians but this band is the best band in the country... And I put Way Out West easily the best album in the past 20 years.. Simply put they are all Superlative!!!
