Its a weird connection but my birthdate is the the same as the date Jimi died . I have always hacked around trying to mimic so much but now that i have found your site I am having the most fun and sounding legit..... at a much slower pace but I am loving it and learning more than i did in college. I am following and using your "Hendrix and Gilmour-isms" i realize the work and talent it takes to do what you do and they did and i realize that my lifelong worship of their music was well founded. I can't thank you enough for the joy you are giving to an old guy! 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!

This is the 4 Hendrix song you’ve taught me (after Little Wing, Purple Haze, Hey Joe) and I feel like I now understand Jimi’s guitar language a little, like I almost can feel what your about to show me before you do, because I now understand some of the chord voicing and licks he invited. Very rewarding feeling to have developed that better intuitive understanding of my favorite player. Thank you.

Hi Marty, though I have been playing for 40 years,it remains still a little elusive to me to figure some licks out by ear, it's nice to see you play with such clear-cut explanations and cleanliness.Hendrix double stops can be considered as a contribution to the world pop culture and a trademark of hip ,tasty modern guitar playing.Last but not least, with your lessons l keep my English skills honed. All the best and greetings from Havana ,Cuba.

One of my favorite Hendrix songs, and yet, i'm still amazed at how simple it is to play, especially for a beginner like me (been playing almost 4 years, and I started at 51).
