I attend the Anaheim Braille Institute... I can see well enough to watch your tutorials... On Tuesdays...I hang out with the guitar teacher and his assistant and we jam during lunch...He is totally blind,and enjoys your tutorials as well...one of our fellow students requested we play Elvis...thank you for helping me with making her request a reality.

Strum Pattern: Down - Db (Light Down on Base note) - Down/UP - Db (Light Down on Base note) = D Db DU Db (One rhythm pattern per chord) Or simply: D D DU D if you don't want the effect of the Db version like Marty plays. The longer time on some of the chords in the start are just 3 patterns of the above . Applicable to most of the song

Mr. Schwartz. I don’t know if you read all of the comments? But, I want to thank you for your lessons. KZbin pause, reverse and replay are tutorial lifesavers for me, personally. I’m a reasonably proficient amateur, on guitar. But, I’m an incredibly slow student. In real life, you’d probably have thrown both of our guitars away, and walked out, completely frustrated. youre finger strength is weak bud, hopefully you got it down by now, but if not practice using two fingers to barre and play with the ring and pinky only. it helped me when i couldn't get the strength down. equal pressure to all too!

J.T. Cremeans my friend taught me that you only need to press down on the cords that you aren’t pressing down with your other fingers. The finger should act like a capo but only on the strings you aren’t using your other fingers to form a chord with
