So for the translation (hope I get this right): And in that very moment, from afar, 5 red sleighs, all separated evenly, arose from the loneliness of the horizon and came quickly in a straight line. Everyone was so surprised that they couldn't even raise their voices. Whoever comes to that country will be told the story of the black people on red sleighs.

The moment you brought up the '-esque' comparison I already knew I'll wind up being a headache to my real-life japanese teacher because I regularly use that kind of vocabulary with my english

I noticed some of the words I'm learning from flashcards ended in -やか so interesting to know that they are a whole family of words.

Can we get the rest of the Prefectures sometime? There are some real awesome ones you haven't got to yet, like Shimane or Tokushima.

I'll probably get it done soon but I like how the two prefectures you provided as awesome examples are arguably the most boringest places to be

I dunno how you would make a vid or answer this in any reasonable way but lately, my japanese has gotten decent enough that if i just look up the more complex words in a sentence i can understand it, the problem is simply dealing with the incredibly large vocab that one has to learn and not forgetting it, like just in this episode i recognized most of the yaka words but only AFTER you put a translation on them, like wtf is wrong with my brain. >tldr im stupid, tips for learning vocab pls

@mrAMMW this is what I recommend for everybody who faces the same thing as you Try watching a shit ton of variety shows. 1) automatically comes with Japanese subtitles so if you can't read a word just listen to what they say, and if you don't understand what a person says, read the subtitles, and if you understand neither just quickly look it up 2) the people on the shows actually speak normally, unlike cartoons and books where a lot of character talks "weirdly" and "unnaturally" 3) you learn more that just the Japanese language watching variety shows Once you watch a months worth of variety shows you'll get really used to seeing different types of words in different sentences, try learning 5 words a day like that

Just curious how did AI do at the translation "At that moment, far away on the horizon, five red mice appeared, evenly spaced, moving quickly but in a straight line. The people who saw them were so shocked that no one even made a sound. If someone from this country visits, they’re likely to hear the strange story of the black man and the red mice." Also thanks for the video hope to use at least some of these words when I visit Japan next month. Thanks for the video

@southcoastinventors6583 not bad but: 1) its not just a horizon, it's a desolate horizon (just a nit pick) 2) not mice, sleighs. 3) there are many black men Overall pretty good
