This is an awesome tutorial. Just got Bias FX 2 yesterday. A much needed upgrade from Line 6 PodFarm that I've been using for 10+ years now.

you're gonna love it. tons of tone options with lots of amps, cabs, and even mics! you can also get killer rhythm tone too by using dual routing, hard pan both amps, and set the delay to 1ms on one of the amps.

Thank you for explaining and talking through it slowly ! :) I'm really keen on Bias FX as I've heard quite a few guitarists use it instead of Neural Dsp. Honestly I do find this to be rather complex but I'm constantly searching for amazing tone 😂 like most guitarists. Thank you for explaining everything 🙏!

I got the standard version and a lot of the presets and amps/fx are locked out. But thankfully tonecloud have pretty much every tone you can think of. Just a heads up for someone who is planning to get the software, get the pro or elite version instead if you want to fully unlock it. But for bedroom guitarists like me, standard is more than enough

I really liked your "performance" .... I'm an old shool guitarist ... I stopped playing for a while ... and I'm back now years later .. So, I'm fascinated with all this technology. When I started playing it was just me. 1 pedal and 1 cheap amp.

I have a Behringer UM2 that doesn't seem to be recognized by Bias FX 2. I've downloaded the ASIO drivers and have ASIO as an option in the program, but cannot select my UM2 and I'm forced to play with Windows Audio which causes a lot of latency. Any suggestions to fix this?

Hi , If you could please help me as well....I am a beginner guitarist...I am using bias fx 2 in reaper DAW, I connect my fender strat to focusrite solo 3rd gen, I tried multiple amp effect pedals combinations , i tried messing with the amp settings bass treble mids etc, for some unknown reason my guitar tone sounds muffled, I've been trying to create a tone similar to billie joe from green day but I not able to get a clear clean crunchy rock sound... It's too muffled for some reason...any advice would be highly appreciated....Thanks

Oh, this is the video I am needed for... and a cute little girl is the instructor. What a luck! 🙂Btw I don't think I'll be smarter, as your stock tone sounded more nice than on my computer. It might be a broken cabel or smth, too much interference or smth like that. The sound is a bit... sluggish, but I think the AMD 3700X must handle this app. 🤔
@ourclarioncall4 жыл бұрын
Question When you play at home is the sound coming out of your computer monitor speakers ? Or do you use a regular guitar amplifier ? I was thinking instead of buying a new guitar amp , to just buy some good computer monitors instead 🤔 hmmm

Hi, can you please educate me how this all is connected from guitar to PC to AMP, etc.?
@MaruMartinezGuitar4 жыл бұрын
Valmir Berisha Hi Valmir, Guitar connects to audio interface (Scarlett Focusrite 2i2) with a guitar cable. Audio interface is connected to computer via USB. In the computer, in Pro Tools, the Audio Interface is set as your recording and playback device. Inside Pro Tools you create an audio track and use Bias FX as a plugin (insert). The audio track takes your guitar input signal from the interface and you can use Bias FX to play/record.

How in the world is it possible to create distortion? The only thing i want, is to let my electric guitar sound like one. But it doesnt matter what i do, i only get a clean sound. What kind of miracle do i have to do? I change the head. Nothing changes. I change the amp. Nothing changes. I add distortion. Nothing changes. I choose one of the Metal presets. Nothing changes. I choose on one the Rock presets. Nothing changes. Am i really that stupid? There is literally no single video on KZbin where someone explains how i get my f***ing distortion. I hate this digitial sh*t. Usually i would just plug in to my Marshall and shred some riffs but i want to record something. But it seems impossible.
