Nice provocation, I took test drive of new swift n was super happy with ride quality, suspension n driving comfort. 25 KMPL is mind boggling. I’m currently using duster n was almost thinking of getting exchanged for city drive. This video has put some serious questions now 😊

Maruti Suzuki thinks they can launch anything and it will always be superhit.This is the worst downgrade since this car came into the Indian market in the 2000s. Swift used to be one of their bestsellers. I hope this new Swift flops like their Ignis and Jimny, then they'll come to their senses. Raising prices almost 1L and giving an inferior product. There are far better alternatives in the market now. People should totally boycott this car.

Swift is a good looking Car, much better than the Ugliest design of Mahindra 3X0 (some sort of pre-historic animal whicbi nit good looking). its like Crap... now coming to Jimny, our Indian Car buyers don't even want the Practicality.. Entry and Exit in Back Seats, Mileage, off road capability, driving in City, but all the Indian Customers is lookibg pf the Size, No on Practicality (Mahindra Thar) I dont know how but its not really a useful vehicle... in City and Travelling JOMNY is an Overall Package, bith in City and Off Road capacity.... Now coming to Swift abiut to launch Tomorrow, the Car is giving more Capacities as the name says so, SWIFTNess, Practicality, Mileage, and all other goodies which a normal regualr person looking for and can do the service in any part of India and the Parts are good low priced....

AMT is way more practical for the Indian scenario, DCT is very risky in stop-and-go traffic, CVT is good but almost unrepairable, TC can be an option but MS has only 4 speed TC for smaller engine.

The best thing I like about Hyundai cars in the higher variants is DRVM - driver rear view monitor. This is such a useful feature for safety. Why can't other manufacturers (except Kia, which is a cousin of Hyundai) provide this feature?

Agree with you sir in terms of price it is downgrade and expensive. I bought Dezire AGS in Jan 23 at price of 9.6L while Amaze was 10.75L top end having alloy, touch screen, LED lights and CVT automatic bot due to poor response of dealer Rajkot Landmark about CVT transmission to be replaced only at hefty price of 2.3L I didn't went for Honda

Does any hatchback car provides rear view camera as standard in Base mode itself? They should provide it. But in that case, they should also provide touchscreen infotainment system which I don't think any hatchback cars provide in their base model. Comparison of zxi+ AGS with i20 Sports cvt was brilliant. We have seen a lot of cost cutting on Maruti Suzuki cars over the year, so much that some of the features are only available in zxi/zxi+ models nowadays which used to be available in vxi.

For example, removing push button start, LED DRLs, LED Dual Projector headlamps from Brezza VXI which were available in 2020 VXI. 2022 Brezza VXI lacks all these features and the premium feel they gave. 3 Cylinder NA engine of Swift is definitely a downgrade. They should have given it with Hybrid or even Turbo would have been Ok.

Actually 3 cyl is not downgrade If company increases the built quality of the vehicle and the Weight gets increased,cutting of 1 cylinder can become mandatory to maintain same fuel economy,thus it's a good step by safety angle...and also the 3 cylinder engine setup by maruti in fronx turbo is a good setup example....but hope the built quality gets and upgrade in this facelift...

Maruti CEO once said they are competing with two wheeler companies as they offer better security than 2 wheelers...now with this facelift they are competing with 4 wheeler companies and when that happens they have to enhance safety.the first generation Swift was wider and 25% more heavier than the current Swift model. This they achieved by adding plastic components even in the engine parts. This company is just a sham...better compromise a bit on milega and get a safe and secure 4 wheeler...jo apne pariwar se kare pyaar woh Suzuki se kare inkaar.
