Chris Claremont made the statement years ago, that "What if" Jim Shooter had chosen Byrne over him for the X-Men (when Byrne and Claremont couldn't work together anymore due to creative differences). That Rogue and Mystique would have been Avengers characters and not X-Men characters. To me, that indicated that Claremont possibly thought the Avengers movies were much better than the X-Men movies. I wonder what he thinks about the cartoons? Particularly, the 92 series adaptation of the Dark Phoenix saga?

And Mojo and Spiral were ticked off.
