Marvel is just a timeless game. Every single character, from the topest tier of Vergil and Phoenix to the lows of Iron Fist - all have SOOOO much tech. The game's mechanics are constantly being pushed to the absolute limit, causing it to be THE BEST game in terms of player's skill expression and individual strategies. It being locked on one JANKY, BROKEN patch is what **makes the game so amazing.** It allowed the meta and character development to truly get tested because overcoming the top-tiers required huge innovations in tech. It's the only fighting game that hits EVO again and again and again on the same patch, which is, in my opinion, a GOOD thing. I'm so ready!!

This Evo is so big, so well attended that I'm looking at that list thinking it's very likely any of them make it, but also like none of them could 😵‍💫

@@SpartanThrone I'm positive that LT AND Jibrill make it hands down. After that, it's really a toss up. All it takes is 2 bad matchups in a 1300+ bracket and a killer goes down. Never forget, even ChrisG didnt make top 8 in 2015 which was absolutely wild to hear when that happened. Anyone is as viable to advance as they are to be eliminated

Mundank wins tournaments and gets top 8 like it’s no big deal 😅. Evasion gets top 8 at almost everything he enters. Mothman is just a personal fave of mine since he’s a MODOK player - I guess I could’ve picked Priest too, his play is godlike, probably best modok and badass mags and doom. It’s really too hard to call top 6 - a lot depends on brackets, too 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hmmmmmmmm, I don't think they will have used an automated system to actually do it on start.gg itself. I think they'll have had some sort of system in the back to allocate points based on criteria so it's fair, but I think they will have manually done a lot there and the manually done everything on start.gg? Dunno I'm full of crap so maybe 🤣🤣

@@SpartanThrone agree, just think that LT, Jibrill or KBR can take. Looks like the big killers Chris runs into is either sacktap or mundank. I think mundank and Chris played at some point(? Or was it a different morrigan player like escalate) and mundank got washed. So looking at how the brackets are setup Chris does seem at good odds of making top 6, losing to LT in winners semis then losing to rayray in losers semis
