Love it ! You could try Cyclops + Valkyrie so death-glow (on the villain most of the time) always allow you to trigger your optic blast ability ;) Could be a nice "goal" to try to use optic blast as often as possible. I don't know what aspects would be best though, maybe protection somewhere to play the long game ? or just rush, idk ^^

My local group plays that any boost ability IS part of the attack so the attack deals damage.
