if you want to understand it you have to entertain the idea that aside from the Multiverse there is a realm outside of it called "The Beyond or Beyondverse", there they are the most powerful beings (so far) and created the original Beyonder. So they were not bound to the laws of the Multiverse itself and they were powerful enough to actually kill the abstracts. But their weakness was they couldn't time travel, hence why Dr. Doom and Molecule Man was able to enact their plan. They were too busy with their experiment and too proud to even consider someone was foiling it since their time was linear that Doom was successful in wrestling their powers from them hence Battleworld Secret Wars. But yeah, it was weird. Rob talked about it in a separate video if you want further explanation.

@@raphscallion they are Marvel, just not the usual Marvel. There is a Multiverse and there is an omniverse. TOAA presides over all, it's just that TLTj presides only on the Main Multiverse. Basically if you have to make sense about all of it it was TOAA's plan all along to reset the Multiverse so a lot of the characters can merge and be rebooted.

What I believe is that the Living Tribunal is the representative of balance just under the One Above all in power, but there are times when another being becomes so powerful that it may exceed that of the Living Tribunal, and should the Living Tribunal attempt to intercede, the Living Tribunal may be destroyed. Without the Living Tribunal, the balance between all of the Omniverse would then be gone and the Omniverse would fall to chaos. This is why at those times that a more powerful being might arise, the Living Tribunal does not interfere and allows the other powers within the universes which are being influenced to take care of themselves. The Judgement of the Living Tribunal is thus that its own survival is more important than the possible destruction of part of the Multiverse, and so it does not intercede and perhaps cause the loss of the entire Omniverse due to its own destruction.
