I add in Captain Steve and the change leadership tactics card for a late game attrition or evasion swing. This allows them all to do their placement effects much easier. Also allows venom and Gwen to protect your team cheaper. Also, Steve is such a good crisis control piece. He fits in really good for C crisis because he protects your squishier spiders and is pretty hard to kill. He also loves miles reroll when he is sitting on a middle point.

You can’t change to a leadership who doesn’t have the same affiliation as the squad you are playing. If you playing web warriors, you must pick another web warriors leadership. So you can’t start with miles and change to caps, you can only change to Peter Parker’s leadership.

Im not convinced Steve is good enough out of affiliation. He really needs that power reduction on his bodyguard as he isn’t amazing at generating his own.

How bout running nebula on this roster? Rerolls on characters holding or contesting points and giving out shocks to help with the squishyness of the team?

I know I'm really late to the game here and this may have been addressed, I'm new to MCP. Around the 12:45 mark or so you are discussing how the power for Glaive's edge is on your next declared strike or death blow. But on the card itself it just says your next strike or Death blow. So if Gwen pulls you back or Loki runs away does the power count as going off or not? I am thinking does not count as going off. Because if it counts as going off what if the attack gives you a power like Darkstar's Darkforce strike does she get the power for it? Or if it doesn't count as going off then why doesn't Glaive's edge count for your next strike or death blow? Again it says next strike or Death blow not next declared. this is from the rules as I read it and may be what you are trying to say. choose target then superpowers/abilities are used starting with the attacker so at this point is when you attach the super power to the attack because attacker goes first. Then defender uses their super power to run away. That particular attack doesn't go off but everything that is tied to if it did is used? I know this is long but I'm not sure I agree with your conclusion that the power used on the super power is lost as well if there is someone else in range I could use it on. Thank you.

I run a list pretty similar to this but I don't use toad or sam, Instead I have Shuri and Okoye, gives me the option of hitting Wakanda if the objectives lean more toward gamma and the like, Ironically I think I have never fielded Moonkight, Hes there and I mean there should be situations hes really good but it always seems to work out that hes left behind for 1 of the combo pieces, My crisis deck is a bit different probably because I have the wakanda to lean on but I run gamma, portals overun city and extremis riot with herbs, spider infected and montressi, Again similar tactics deck with webbed, A better tommorow, lethal prot, mission obj, rnd, med and brace but I threw in cat and the spider, Uneasy allies and wakanda forever

Coming to this late, but I thought you cant have two xharcteres with the same alter ego in a roster and the first roster has two peter parkers (ASM and SM)

Hey. So the rules were changed so you can have multiple of the same aliases (Peter Parker for example) in the same Roster, but only 1 in a squad.

Very interesting, I own all the roster bar sam, panther and ms marvel, might get those three packs some time and try it out. I will eventually play web warriors but kind of feel I fall into the more attrition based gameplay and can't help but find them a little tame. That said I'm trying to balance control and the 'zap! pow! Kaboom!' of Convocation at the moment, which isn't easy. But hopefully, when you finally get around to Convocation, you can maybe enlighten me to what I'm maybe missing 😀 looking forward to the last few affiliations!

This is because the first part of the video is a 3 box challenge (buying the core box and 3 other character packs), and the pack that Advanced RnD comes on wasn’t one of the 3 boxes.
